I might have been to quick to judge the severity of the PC problem. It seems that the issue was caused by Steam Overlay absolutely demolishing my GPU Drivers, which seems to be a fairly common issue.

Anyway, the new Collection is finally released!

To everyone waiting for the new Collection:

There may be another delay, this time serious. My main PC experienced a catastrophic system failure and, at the moment, I don't know how severe the damage is. Maybe it's just a faulty drive. Maybe something much worse.

Good news is, that I've already managed to upload the mods to both Workshop and Cloud, so I can continue finishing them on another machine, if need be.

However, my mental state at the time slightly prevents me from continuing. I hope you'll understand.

I still remember back in my day when Jaruzelski wore a cap and didnt have hair, their weren't any official gun replacements, the strider was just a black reskin with the logo strapped on, and the old Deus Ex mods (which I have never subscribed to, though)

I apologise for the long wait, I was supposed to release it last week. But every time I think I have everything prepared, another thing pops up.
And my paranoid ass would not let me release it incomplete, for irrational fear of someone stealing the idea, since it's based on a pretty recognisable franchise, lol.

That is pretty creepy. Although I have to say that I have been busy working on another collection. That, coupled with a small burnout and lack of ideas regarding the PRL pack, means that the pack won't receive new mods/updates for some time at least.

However, I hope that the new collection will be at least somewhat enjoyable for y'all. Just have to finish a few key mods and I should be able to start publishing them soon, maybe even nex week.

I had a dream about the PRL mod where ForlornBucaneer quit making the mods and sent a message that said something like "I have decided to quit the PRL collection. The (I forgot what this is) has sent me over the edge."

Sure it is. But at the moment I'd rather not touch Hammer. I do not feel confident in using it, and I would not want to accidentaly break any of the maps.
I already have enough problems with Background maps breaking collision, scripts and textures of my replacements (although it's kind of fixable with my Static Menu mod)

Is it possible to make changes to the maps that aren't just texture replacements?

No. If you look into the main collection, you'll find the "Firearms All-In-One" Mod, that contains every weapon in a single mod.

since the guns are in the legacy pack, does it mean the guns are getting replaced?

Currently recovering from sickness. I wanted to make mods during this time, but I couldn't even look at the monitor without my eyes tearing up and hurting.

However, when I get back, I plan to update the Barricades with replacements for Combine Doors; I also have an Idea for Grigori replacement. And also soundtrack replacement, although unrelated to the PRL pack

As I said in replies to someone's comment, this collection was not supposed to ever exist. I originally was making "funny haha" reskins for my own personal use and amusement. But then I noticed that I started to spend WAY too much time on it, and decided "fuck it. Others post their mods, however small or big they may be, so why shouldn't I?"

So I uploaded them. Then they started to gain popularity. Then I really wanted to add a Palace of Culture, so I started to learn Blender. Then my Autism activated, which brings us to this day.

Unfortunately, I've been caught up in some IRL stuff that needs taking care of. That's why I'm not posting at the moment and I cannot estimate when I'll be able to. Week-long delay at best.

However, the Hunter model is ready, just needs the sounds. And I already have plans for both Scanners, Manhack, Rollermine and Regular Mine, Advisors and possibly the Turret as well.

The Scanners and Manhacks will be in a single upload. The mines and the turret will get added to the Firearms All-In-One pack.
