Currently in Chasing Wind and this is incredible. This could have been another DLC it's so high quality. I have run into one crash so far, but regardless it's incredible.

even on the legacy version, enabling the sunlit trail mods with the seer ends up blackscreening and it doesn't load

really strange phenomenon happening; some rooms in gray urban are extremely laggy and freeze completely when approaching a connection/generally going further into the room. if anyone has any ideas on how to fix it do tell :( this happens specifically in the first room exiting necropolis and GU_IA01

its an amazing mod, but it crash out a lot of times, even while i was playing, its really awful because the regions and the story is pretty neat, i hope they fix it soon

I haz a question, for anyone in late-game Seer or completed it. And you can spoiler it for anyone else, whatever. But I wanna ask, what ARE the Seers mechanics?? Does it have any special abilities? I've been trying to figure out how this goofy thing works, exploring around, but I'm struggling to figure out what the Seers end-goal is. Like. What they're looking for, potentionally. Even a hint would be appreciated rn.

(For context, I have max karma, and even made an attempt on the void sea but it didn't work :p)

Late game spoilers I think I'm at what I think is the second to last region, but I only have max karma 5. Will I be able to beat the game without gettomg karma 10, and if I can't, will there be a way to get Karma 10 on the path to the end, or do I need to grab some base game echos /spoiler

Cool, got it to work as I had the same issue on pc, just removed every single mod i was subbed to on workshop and redownloaded it and I can atleast see the character in the story menu.

thanks to everyone recommending x64 world in here btw! i have trouble playing modded regions because of how bad the memory leaks were but this seems to be working wonders. i'm ready to keep trying

the mod wiki is saying this guy has normal spear damage, so you're telling me it's supposed to take 4-5 spear hits to kill those stupid glow worms? i can't get out of necropolis, it feels like an endgame area and starting there is so brutal

I can't see the seer as a playable slugcat anywhere, could it be something with me being on a steam deck? Also as far as I know I have everything extra disabled.

I absolutely loved this campaign, by the way.
It's funny how a modded campaign manages to feel so much more like an official expansion than the actual official DLC did. I love that the Seer doesn't have any notable special abilities and that instead this campaigns unique factor is the fact you have a whole games worth of new areas to explore, new creatures to evade and new items and mechanics to wrap your head around.
Gray Urban might be one of my favorite Rain World regions period. Platforming through this region was incredibly fun and the verticality really was felt.
I love how it also connects to other region mods outside of the sunlit trail.
I did reach an ending. But i'm not actually sure if there's still more to do. Especially since i can't quite make sense of A1ex's spoiler, haha. There was also one particular region i never even visited (the one on the very cover of the Seer's campaign selection screen, haha) so maybe i'm going to dive back in again.

my log looked very similar when i first started installing any mods. had a lot of crashes as soon as POM, Region Kit and a few regions were loaded, regardless of which campaign i was playing. It's honestly baffling just how much the X64 World mod improved my game. I haven't had even a SINGLE crash since. So yeah, your problems probably actually are the memory leaks. all the log warnings are a bit of a red herring, haha. I fell for it too!

I actually did enable X64 World after running several checks for memory leaks, haven't replayed the campaign since then though. Console log seems to be complaining a lot about rooms not being found, echo extender not being set correctly and some creatures having path finding errors, which got me thinking it might be something else? That log certainly didn't look normal. Unless all of this is a symptom of a memory leak.

Maybe try enabling X64 World, it will give you more time until it crashes. As for the CW batfly bug, we never managed to replicate it. It will be fixed when we do.

Recurring crashes after playing for a while with a lot of mods are likely due to the game leaking memory, it is not something modders can fix in their mods.

Okay so... First of all, I really enjoyed this, even if it was really frustrating at times because of my luck, constant crashes throughout the entire thing, and some room designs that look good, but clearly weren't made with gameplay value in mind. (Talking about you, Grey Urban). That aside, I really like how minimalistic it is. No crazy abilities, no great significance to the overarching story, it's almost like I'm playing survivor for the first time again! this time on a tougher difficulty in completely different set of regions.

Of course I already played most of those regions so they aren't that fresh to me, some, even nostalgic already, because I played them back in 1.5, still, It's so cool how you don't have to even set foot in any of the vanilla rooms to get 10 karma and finish the campaign, which is awesome, especially for the players who never played the regions before. Having to search for echoes and being given shelter locations is an amazing gameplay combo, which makes people actually explore, without having to worry too much about seeking shelter, which is really nicely done.

really like the ending too. it's minimalistic, again, but that just leaves a lot up to interpretation, just like the original survivor's ending. So yea, I really like how this feels so pre-DLC rain world, despite being a fully modded experience. unfortunately that means that the consistency isn't as fixed here, which feels a bit jarring at times, and, as mentioned earlier, crashes are a pain. I'd be happy to provide console logs and further detail on that, if you'd like to help.

My favorite part is how I started and ended the game in the same exact shelter. Feels so poetic, almost.

i dont know how i feel abou the scug, they have one ability thats barekly noticeable, the regions are really nice bbut you dont even need to getb the seer to play in those regions and you can play in the regions as anyn slug, theyre kind of useless and are just yellow survivor but they can see shelters, even monk has more abilities and debuffs (reduced breath, reduced damage) this guy doesnt even have anythin

Nevermind, I have found the solution: turns out you need to have karma flower to see echoes if your karma level is low. Just eat a flower and go to sleep, on the next cycle there will be an echo on its place

I died in the same cycle after seeing the Echo flash in the region, but then I returned to the Echo room and it was there.

Can someone help me? I found the echo area in the Necropolis, but it just doesn't appear. It shows me this echo-like effect when I enter the room, but that's it... I've explored every corner of Necro, but it didn't work either. What should I do?:steamsad:
