Yes i saw this document and was very instructive and helpful ! Again, eveything is not 100% sure, as you said i think it was a good compromise to set up like this, compares to what the vanilla game wrote. As the game coded the catalan as created in 800 AD, i think it was immersive enough to write that all carachters born before 800 was not catalan but visigothic or occitan. Its pretty random to chose which one of these two for each character btw, but i assumed than people in Carcassonne area were occitan and Barcelona dynasty were Wisigoth. Thanks for compliment !

Interesting; the issue of who was Guinidilda's father is not irrefutably proven, just like we don't 100% know that Borrell was Sunifred's father (let's not forget, the Gesta Comitum gives Guifré a totally different and surely fictitious ancestry, since having Frankish ancestors was all the rage, while having Visigothic forebears was not well regarded at that area at the time), but it's a good compromise with the different ideas floating around.

This (oldish) paper I found also has some information that may be interesting, in case you haven't seen it before:

By the way, maybe the independentist flags on this AI warrior picture are a bit too much? Li resten serietat al mod, crec.

Her age is not very documented, The most sources describe her as a daughter of a Sunyer or Sunifred of Empuries and the Empuries house come from the Carcassonne dinasty. The sources i find about a Sunyer of Empuries lead to this unlanded vanilla character which who i gave him rossello county. And his age in the game and in sources i found seems to tell us that he was close to the same age of Guifré, so at 27 years old it difficult to have an older daughter .. This kind of marriage was pretty common in medieval ages to get alliances and reinfoce relationship between families, especially between these two families, i saw manies, 4 or 5 in 80 years. I try to reflect them in the game if you navigate a bit in the relationship IG you can see it :) thanks for the feedback anyway !

Wow, I didn't realize Guinidilda was so young. Kind of gross. But thank you for trying to make this more historically accurate. There are lots of characters in the CK3 files that aren't quite historically accurate. I'm not sure why they don't correct it.
