seeing how there's an ending with her dad not having to use a wheelchair to be able to walk, it could be caused by the XX chromosomes from her mother or grandma, but that really depends.

could be mom or dad, but i'm pretty sure with how genetics work she could have even gotten it from even her grandma without her mom or dad having it, depending on if its a recessive gene or not (as it gets passed down)
