Spotting rifles were typically .50 cal, and needed to be accurate to serve their purpose as a test round to range the launcher.
Complaining about rocket launcher with a spotting rifle not being a challenge/joke weapon like the kolibri is asinine

It'd be more fun if it took more effort to kill with it. Think of the Kolibri pistol in BF1: it's a fun gun to use because it deals so little damage! If it was as powerful as any other weapons, then it wouldn't be as funny to use it. The spotting round should at least be a three-shot-kill.

Now, for fun's sake, maybe the SMAW's backblast could be used to kill enemies also? THAT would be funny!

Who's the commissioner? He's insane if he thinks the spotting round should be an instakill. Seriously, it's like the best room clearing weapon there is: big fat bullet, instakill, semi-auto with an eight round magazine... plus, it's so extremely precise that you can even snipe with it!
