if it helps at all, the mods "Fix Alyx missing voices in episode 1" and "Sound fix for EP2" restore the audio to the episodes but break some of the sounds and might point you in the right direction.

Do note it removes a lot of the audio from Episode 1 and possibly 2

Having same issue as Beeyter where it breaks sound for ep 1, i've only tried it on ep 1 though and it breaks other sounds besides voice lines

Hey know you're working on the update now, but there's a bug where using this weapon skin in episode 1 and 2, the voices for the characters can't be hear, like at all. The SFX still work, but the voice lines doesn't, so I hope you can fix it soon.

Yeah i kinda agree, the firing sounds ruin it a bit :maple2: still i like this and keep playing with it! I do like the other sounds and the lil feature it does when you point at friendlies! But if you could make it with normal firing sounds it would be so Awesome <3

yeah the audio is just ruining the mod
can you remove the awful sounds and release standalone skin version so the game is playable with this mod?
