@Doctor AiBoBo Yes, it is in this mod that it happens and in ck3 agot. I ended up finding out what was causing this bug, I wanted to play in Spanish, but apparently it's not compatible.

@Jeremyhezz - are you sure this was with this mod, this could not happen if you run clean installation of it. It also compatible with tons of other different mods. We've brought significant improvements to make Arikuri's world more believable and rich. The update features extensive religion and culture system polish, new loading screens, and original soundtrack additions.

This is just beginning, we are working on bringing more immersion and flavor of this strange, new world named Arikuri.

Incoming patch was split into two releases in order to allow you to enjoy some ready things earlier :
V1.2 - Very Soon (26 - 30.11.24) - Bringing/Emphasizing own unique setting character, Essential fixes and polishes
- 1st Volume of Airkuri Original Soundtrack, featuring dozen of unqiue Arikuri tracks
- 1st Arikuri Loading Screen
- some immersion refinement for religion naming
- fixing double faith bug
- fixing missing localization entries for heritages and religions, including descriptions
- culture tradition polish
- religion cleanup and and polish, some religion merges

I have been playing this mod all day with some other mods i enjoy, this has been so much fun and a breath of fresh air for me. I never thought i would enjoy playing as a warlord wanderer perpetual fighting in his religions homeland to one day regain complete autonomy.

@gallezed please come to discord channel dedeicated to Arikuri on PMG server. I will answer all questions there and tell about the intentions. So far I plan on things listed below + some surprizes that will give maximum immersion and flavor.

Anything else will be considered after the basics of personification/immersion are done and polished.

Another question of course only for far in the future: Have you guys considered implementing the ruins/wilderness system which agot/ godjhera/ and lotr use. Where you can colonise, rebuild, settle and build holdings on pieces of forgotten/destroyed etc. land?

Announcement for next major alpha update (the work is started but there lots of it, things are wip).
As you should expect most of the items will have effect and after testing will be pushed/merged to PMG. Main focus is flavor and immersion:
- first portion of bookmarks
- first Arikuri video trailer. Hell yeah
- complete immersion-centered revamp for holy sites
- some immersion refinement for religion naming
- fixing double faith bug
- fixing missing localization entries for heritages and religions
- culture tradition polish
- some wildcard stuff - things may change and bit more things added

Thanks for suggestion, we will examine this for one of next releases.

Now we are focused on more basic things like bookmarks, holy sites, culture polish, religions flavors, decisions, events, invasions.
Once we gain some maturity in those areas we will consider such integrations

I think they are generally fine with it, as long as you ask. Since mods like agot, elder kings 2, also use, and various mods have compatches for it

Total conversion mods typically begin and released as alphas without fully developed world - these elements evolve during development. As this is an early alpha release, we're focusing on foundational worldbuilding aspects.
Our extensive roadmap will add depth and flavor to locations, nations, and religions. Having experienced the early stages of major total conversion mods, I can say it's pretty solid and can provide challenging and immersive gameplay already.
The diverse cultures and faiths reflect real-world complexity better than vanilla's generalized approach. PMG/Arikuri generation considers geography and isolation, creating distinct cultural pockets - imagine green-skinned giants dwelling in mountain valleys amid predominantly short, pink-skinned peoples.
Regarding Holy Sites, the game allows reformation without prerequisites, though having only one HS makes it more challenging. Improving Holy Sites is a priority on our near-term roadmap.

Really cool idea and is very impressive on a worldbuilding and alternative geography standpoint. If you are reading this before playing, then you'll have a nice few hours and maybe a few lives. Given more time, this could be extremely fleshed out. But as the title says, this is more of a showcase of a map generator rather than an actual total conversion. That means no bookmarks, no decisions, nothing actually gameplay wise. If I could put to cents in, I would gut a lot of cultures and faiths. There are too much, and having hundreds is not a boast. Because you'll have dozens of unreformed one county faiths that can't be reformed because there aren't even enough holy sites. Otherwise, can't wait until this fleshes out because it is a cool idea

I cant find the discord link to suggest this there but I have a couple suggestions (I'm ingame rn)

1. Every single religion and their religious groups end with "ism" SOME religions should end in ism but not all and not the culture groups only individual religions should end in "ism"

2. Names, local empires and maybe kingdoms should be named after or similar to the dominant culture in the region, not randomized entirely, and randomized names should be split into pools that are all similar sounding in their region and only apply to one region that way it seems like these places have their own languages and feel more immersive

i remember playing something like this for CK2 years ago, where you could freehand the outlines of a map, and the mod would then generate unique and randomized cultures, religions, and titles and you hit the ground running The religions even had elaborate flavor context. Man, i've been looking for something like that for CK3 since it came out. Hats off to you guys :steamthis::steamthis:

looking foward to it. I myself have played so some self creted generated worlds, with help of the generator, but have felt that without decisions and flavour the worlds feel a bit lifeless. So I am interested to see how this project will deal with that

Thank you. As a PMG contributor, I will maintain Arikuri as an experimental staging environment for new PMG developments, approved by core devs and ck2rpg, but undergoing final testing. It will focus on showcasing PMG's immersion potential.

While PMG generations focus on world generation and remain compatible with many flavor mods by leaving various areas untouched, Arikuri will develop its own distinct flavor and lore while maintaining the same compatibility matrix as PMG.

Both will receive updates expanding generation capabilities, but Arikuri will exclusively get unique content (bookmarks, trailers, flavor information) created via OS AI models - sometimes pioneering approaches for future PMG releases.

thank you, yeah, ck2rpg (creator of PMG) started awesome idea, and few people, me included helping him to allow unique map generation for your campaigns. I also working on integrating tools like Rock 3 with the generator, and generator also have terrain brush painter with high potential.

Also there possibility that at some point i will try to integrate open source LLM for more advanced users, so if toggled on generation process may communicate with standard OpenAI/anthropic apis or with OSS llama to help with generation of flavorful descriptions for generated stuff.

Please stay tuned. This mod (Arikuri) and PMG will be getting some mindblowing updates.
