Aesthetics. The "-class" suffix is added to the ship design name e.g. a corvette design named 'Aurora' shows up as "Aurora-class Corvette". This ship gets it twice: "Aurora-class Aurora-Class Battleship". Other names look goofy too: "Lance-class Aurora-Class Battleship"

as stated above requirements for the tech are : "Battleships" + "Improved Battleship Hulls"

Can I ask why it only has one section as opposed to the usual amount? It ends up being far weaker than a normal battleship which is a shame because otherwise it's very cool.

To be fair, the last time I looked for an updated mod, this was the only one I found. I thank you for the link and so, I'll leave you to your devises. As for the comment about Subnautica, I think that person is too young to have know that the Aurora we know came long before the Aurora introduced in that game. Let's face it, us OG Star Gate fans are much older than youth entering the gaming sphere today.

Any chance of making the components usable on other ship sizes/classes? That might be outside the scope here, but I love having overpowered ship components.

the powerlevel should be between battleship and titan. they have no build limit (but quite expensive)
ai should not use it

oh and is it one at a time or is it like a titan with a set limit

can the Ai make this, and if it uses set components what kind of fleet-power does it have (Before repeatables of course)
