Though you could re-enable it by removing the >TECHAGE6_CRISISHERESY-TECHAGE7_CRISISOLDONES_ADVANCE_REMOVE< tag from the Age6CR Deck.
A crisis only mod has been on my mind and would be quite simple to do. I could probably make one if i got into modding Millennia again.

There was a bug when I used it. After entering the second age, all ages except the Bloody Age were locked. Why?
While I'm exploring the various timelines (3rd Age, for instance), what's to stop the AI from completing the requirements to advance to the 4th Age and cut short my fun?
Try double checking this. This mod should only have issues with mods that change how tech progression works.
Which slow speed mod are you using? PresidentWHitmore's version changes certain age requirements, so it seems likely that's the conflict origin.
Switching to beta might fix the issue.
