@Doc, haven't tested it but I think it should work fine.
The mod doesn't overwrites any of the files that hiraeth modifies

Greeting! A great mod, but the old Chinese tran was out of time, so I‘ve retranslated the new Chinese loc inside CK3 mod Chinese loc mod,

@Scribe of Nekoti Only in the mod files.

@John2Lionhearth I don't know which mods use the same prefix for files (ADVENTURE_), that could be a reason. The legacy trees only show up when you have the corresponding camp.

Hi, Great mod, But I dont see the features ingame, im using about 50 mods but i mean i am using mods that add features to the Legacies trees.

Hmm Witches mod adds magic to the game and even arcane i got from that other mod maybe that is what is causing it.

Neverthless i will play a realistic medieval sim in my upcoming time.

I recommend changing the final Conqueror legacy to not give 0.1 Renown, because this means that every dynasty member - including children, unlanded characters, and so on - give Renown. With a decent dynasty and this legacy, I am making 2k Renown per month, which is ludicrous and pays for the track and then some in less than a lifetime.

i love mod small suggestion, if you can only upgrade if you have the camp type, either you never play a ruler( and never get renown to get past the first tree anyhow) or you only really get the second trait of a single tree in a game. if you got the first one the rest of tree should be free ) i know i can change that myself on the files and i did it already)

Ooh yes, nice. I think in the back of my head I did feel like this new way to play the game kind of neglected renown and legacy perks. Very nice.

I added some ways to gain renown by playing landless. The knight, travels and holding construction decisions give you access to some renown on completion.

@hamletsdead, Yes, you keep the perks already unlocked.

@donschmiddy, I purposely made it so you can only unlock them while you have a camp of that type.

So if you switch camp type from Wanderer to Swords for Hire I assume you keep any legacies you earned in Wanderer?

sooo, would it be possible to invest renown into the tradition without having a camp? currently all traditions are logged out if you do not currently have the same type of camp?

I didn't add a way to earn renown. So the best way is to get your dynasty members on the throne while keeping your army strong to stay dynasty head (not that hard, but it can make roleplay less immersive if yu're going for a small group). I'll see what I can do about it.

a) i like this mod, b) @Lockey, first thought i had since the update and dlc, how nobody thought of it is insane to me. Not to mention it makes thematic sense

Considering that to be able to choose a legacy, you need renown, did you add a way to earn renown? If not, i would suggest to add renown rewards for completing contracts.

Legacies are always kept once they're unlocked. That's how the game works.
So if you get 2 perks in the Scholar legacy, and the Dynasty head becomes landed, those Sholar perks will still be active.

But I've set it up so the landed Dynasty head will not be able to unlocked the third Scholar perk (since you need to be an adventure Scholar to select the perk)
Likewise, if you unlocked a Scholar perk and then switch to an Explorer camp, you will not be able to unlock further Scholar perks, but you wil be able to unlock Explorer perks.
