I wanted to suggest an idea I had for the inferno skin based off how your tls golden deagle has two skins, the inferno could have an alt skin with blue flames.

@Sharkzilla_707 maybe you can ask experienced modders like RF, tomaz or even chimichamo to make a script that prevents unwanted TLS skins appearing from local servers, we know modders are known for fixing TLS related bugs

update: steam support said that they can't do anything if it's workshop related, but I've noticed that it seems to be related to other custom scripts in game

glad im not the only one discussing about this issue lol, so my guess it also affects normal reskins and not just rng? probably just some tls bug

tbh this is far i can help you i might even have to contact ellie herself but dont think shes really that active anymore, atleast the new script makes the TLS variants appear less i guess, maybe i can make a version for you where the tls skins get replaced by one of my original skins

did some testing with installing and uninstalling and it still freakin persists, I've even deleted the folder in L4D2 that contains the workshop stuff and it still persists.

yeah im now pretty aware of that too, i have muggs autoshotgun RNG and while in testing i just saw it had the worn/dirty variant from TLS when its supposed to have its RNG skin, that uses ellies RNG script too btw

Oh and Tumtara counts, in all my times playing it, all the variants didn't spawn unless it was the weapon testing

I'll see, just tell me if the other skins get this treatment too. And just to be clear, the TLS skin problem affects even the guns you didn't make (XM1014 and D. Eagle)

@Sharkzilla_707 ok after doing some testing woah i actually encountered it, i uninstalled the RNG TLS script and the TLS variants still appeared, i use the RNG TLS mod normaly so i wasnt aware of it and im pretty amazed that ellies rng script can do that, now i updated the mod and i put oneskinpermap to 1 maybe that will fix it? give me some updates later on

oh and I forgot, your skins aren't there

it's the default 3 (basic, worn and namvet) but they can spawn in any part of the map while keeping the originals (they're separate) and the same goes to the other weapons with TLS variants.

ok i will ask again so it will be more clear for me, is the skins changing its TLS variant like the gold and inferno even if u dont have RNG TLS orrrr the skin is still the original variant but its RNG is changing ingame like it goes from navy blue to olive tint suddenly when you switch the weapon

and the skins show up separately from the others so the default variant is still there

what does that do and will it help with my problem? because currently it's still persisting, even with the addon uninstalled

i think i know it, Is the skins changing suddenly while in game? if it is, thats a feature in the script it tries to mimic multiple skins by changing the skin everytime the map detects a recently spawned weapon with that RNG, because only 1 skin is allowed

Still having problems, I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. And I'm not the only one with this issue
