ok so we have a nice list of crops but can you list a set of cooking mods that actually uses these?

Also how bout adding Apples or Pineapples, Grapes, & a cooking mod to make Juice & wine/cider

There's a fistfull of uses, fruit can be turned into juice like lemonade to drink (unlike everything else that's either alcoholic trade goods or solid foods) for variety, or eaten raw when "sliced" on a campfire [???] And you can go a bit out there and refine them to turn their sweetness into sugar or syrup, wich may have markup as a trade good like spice

It can also be instead just a made up crop like greenfruit, like a mix of a peach and a lemon or something like that

Ummm, I can add fruit trees, but I can't really think of a use for them.
Is there anything other than making it into jam?
I need to keep it as simple as possible or I'll be in big trouble with a glut of intermediate materials.
Or make it an item that I can just make, but nothing special.
But that would just be uninteresting, and I don't know what to do.

wish there was some kind of lemon, orange, or lime type of crop, without it people have no way to get vitamin C!

i also wish there was seaweed and mint grass, but that's my own wishfull thinking
