Okay I removed the base game overwriting loc and added decisions to add/remove the eyes of ibad just to test. It should be fine(r) now. Now nothing should break from anything else, unless something is named the exact same as my specific files (or I missed something).

The issue is in the file:
thismod/localization/english/religion/religion_core_tenets_l_english.yml
and is purely visual because I was an idiot when I made it apparently. I'm gonna try to fix this mod up a bit and update it. Should be done today hopefully, I added the eyes of ibad to my private repo just before swapping pcs so I just have to reorient myself.

Update: I just copied and pasted localisation of core tenets from the game files into the mod and that fixed it. I did it for myself, but i hope the mod could be updated with it :)

@Ivefjord Only issue that could be fixed is religion, new tenets that have been added to the game by devs, when playing with this mod, they are still useable, however their names and descriptions are a bit of a mess, basically localisation could be updated. would really appreciate an update for that :D

@Ivefjord, thanks for looking into it. I'll try it again. I removed the mod and the problem disappeared, but that's not always definitive.

@hamletsdead I can't replicate it at all. I played for 6 hours yesterday without any crashes (not as valyrian however so might not be relevant). I made a new character with valyrian faith/culture and have been running the game for 60 years, I can't see any excessive problems to do with this mod in my error log during run time and am not getting crashes. This would be only running this mod, are you sure it's not caused by some incompatibility? Most likely any other mod that modifies the eye_palette and/or hair_palette inside gfx\portraits would cause problems.

If that's not it, you can try giving some more info if there's a special point this happens and I can investigate further.

@Ivefjord, love the mod, but the culture, names and religious doctrines are spamming my error log like crazy. I'm getting random but increasingly frequent CTDs and the debug log is almost always referencing the Valyrian dynasty names.

@charlie- Welp I can't help you since I can't replicate it. I can see the Valyrian culture both when using only this mod+base game or when I use my usual playset. I don't know what else could help besides resubscribing.

@Eziles Rameis I made them congenital again, not sure why they weren't. The other things are a bit involved. The purpose of the mod was mainly the valyrian features, I only copy pasted the culture and faith from my other mod because it was already done and working (at the time).

I have a family that I made in custom and added the Blood of Old Valyria trait (but French culture). The children haven't been inheriting it (I have a wife with the same trait). Is it no longer an inheritable trait?

Enjoying the mod, glad that it's been updated. Would really appreciate if the faith would be pagan rather than abrahamic. But most importantly make the tenets updated because some tenets names are not proper along with culture traditions names, and maybe add flavour to changing from Christian priest names (archbishop) to Priest/Priestess and HoF being High Priest according to Valyrian lore

This ought to scratch the Valyrian itch while AGOT is being updated for 1.13.
It would also be great if you could add the strong seed of other houses, the Baratheons or Lannisters especially,

Can you post the old version too? I actually liked the eye color and hair being tied to the trait
