It is the spitter concept but it fits Boomette so much better

I feel like this model would actually work decently for a spitter replacement tbh. The mouth agape being the first similarity. The second being, that in the concept art the puke appears to literally be the same "hairball" the spitter pukes up.

Tbh, a gnome remastered wouldnt be armored, in my opinion:
