@Darthiyan Maybe check if you have other mods active; I never removed the Hellenic/Ancient Greek language and didn't remove the Hellenic cultural group either; I simply moved all the relevant cultures to the "Byzantine" heritage group and renamed it to "Graeco-Roman"

@Dusty Doesn't seem too difficult, although I think for clarity something like "Ancient Greek" and "Greek" or "Byzantine Greek" might be better

@Ling97 Yeah same as in the base game you have to give yourself Roman culture in the character creation menu; maybe I could add a decision to convert to Roman culture?

@Scyobi_Empire No idea about the compatibility; I assume it's not compatible with any mod that changes the Roman or Byzantine culture files

Yo the Hellenic culture group still exists. You removed the Hellenic language and not the cultural group. Currently Macedonian is the only culture it has.

finally found a mod that gives roman culture Imperial Tagmata, roman ceremonies and others from roads to power. I've been looking for months. if only imperial tagmata could also be chosen for Latin heritage. now my roman empire restoration can truly begin.
Spaceracer Oct 25, 2024 @ 1:19pm
Please don't do any of that.

Love this conceptually, and much appreciate seeing the Roman culture itself get some much needed love.

One thing I might suggest is renaming the current Greek culture "Rhomaios" and set it to be a hybridization of Roman and Greek to reflect how the Byzantines saw themselves as Romans first and foremost; possibly renaming either Macedonian or Trojan to be the stand in for the earlier pre-Roman greeks, or just making a custom dead culture to fulfill the same effect. Though that all might be a bit too far out of the scope of what this mod intends.

@Ling97 not entierly sure since its been a while but i believe that there is an option to restore it when you restore the roman empire.
Ling97 Oct 4, 2024 @ 7:11pm
So is there a way to get Roman culture normally or do I need to make a custom character?

@ᚪᚱᛁᛊᛏᚩᛊᚪᚳᚻ hey cool thanks

Awesome thanks

Does this disable "hellenic hard made"? shockingly, an eternal black death is not fun
Gose Oct 1, 2024 @ 1:51pm
thanks it was really bothering me

@arkai65 May have been from an accidental men at arms innovations file in the mod (which was a useless leftover anyway); should be fixed now.

@NoobPlayer_Nore I don't even know how to copy mod code since they're saved as .mod files instead of folders, and this mod wasn't meant to provide any major buffs or actual gameplay changes, just tiny fixes to things in the vanilla game that were annoying and/or historically inaccurate.

@Kermit The Slav @Gose Done.

The household gods tenet is historical and in the game but locked behind supernatural unnecessary difficulty mode and only if you restore the roman empire as a hellenist. Could you perhaps maybe unlock the tenet or add it? it really bothers me that it is locked behind 0 development constant wars peasant factions and bubonic plagues, and only as rome.
NoobPlayer_Nore Sep 28, 2024 @ 8:52pm
No offense, but did you copy the code of the True Romans mod? In comparison, your mod only completed the superficial repairs and did not modify the decision files, so many of the Roman features were not implemented, only some buffs were added. I still recommend True Romans, and ur mod can consider developing other features.:steamthis:

Could you send the heritage of the romans back to being Latin? Also, the Hellenic group was meant to be ancient Greece and not Byzantine since both of these groups did not see each other as the same people.
arkai65 Sep 27, 2024 @ 8:47pm
i have a strange bug that could be due to Cultural Armies Redux, but i have access to all unique Men at Arms regardless of culture.
Kermit The Slav Sep 27, 2024 @ 6:12pm
Mod is almost perfect, if possible could you make it so Roman culture uses solely the new byzantine fashion instead of Byzantine+European? Currently it causes knights to wear Byzantine scale with Topp helms and other weird combos.

This is epicness.
