I have a suggestion for the mod, Id add the mechanic similar to the immortal highlander mod where you search out people who are immortal, but instead you search for those with high power levels (prowess) and generate random saiyans, strong humans and traits n feats, with nameks and friezas race etc this would be cool to use alongside the scouter plan you could do.

Fantastic wok. Also if you're familiar with dwarf fortress please try modding saiyans into that game and doing something cool with it, I know it would be popular.

I haven't checked, but there was both a strength training mod and a mod for training your kids to be blade masters, both might provide good programming structures to adapt for use with this mod (like adding an unarmed combat mastery that only works while you don't have a weapon equipped but gives a higher bonus than blade master to make up for that, and being able to train your wards and engage in spars with friends to train it)

Not sure how to best represent taking on an army with your ki using/saiyan lord, but if there was some kind of multiplier to efficacy in mass combat (other than just raw martial stat), then that might help represent the kind of 'one saiyan took out an army' thing that they were deployed for in dbz.

@Holoky i can give you multiple solutions for the domain, with various levels of dificulty
1.you can add "domain_limit = 1" or "domain_limit = 3" to a trait and it works, it just that there are´t traits that do it in the base game.
2.also you can put something like this in a trait
culture_modifier = {
parameter = expensive_convert_to_local_culture
domain_limit = 1
}
and anyone with that trait AND a culture with that parameter gets more domain limit, in this case that parameter it´s from ruling caste and staunch traditionalists and it is self-explanatory
3. you alredy have a custom faith, you can create a custom tenet to add domain limit, for example like this in the pacifism tenet:
character_modifier = {
domain_limit = 1
}
4. it´s also posible to add it to an artifact if you put "artifact_domain_limit_1_modifier" during the creation effect, maybe it could be cool in a scouter? they are also for communication and gathering intelligence after all.

1. Mostly for Domain limit, I do agree that Saiyans are definitely not administrative geniuses but I don't really know what else to give them as a buff.

2. I have no idea really, I just didn't know how to have Oozaru control be a system you could upgrade without it being a separate trait.

3. Working on that, since Low-Class Saiyans are in abundance I figure it'd be easy to start out with having a free round-up call for 'em.

4. I like the idea of an arrogant hybrid wanting to appear "pure-blooded" again a lot actually! I also want to have loss in combat result in you having a chance to lose your tail. Having your tail grow naturally or force it out (like Goku did in GT) is on the list as well. I'll definitely be adding mechanics like that. I also forgot all about making tails a weak spot entirely, oops!

Thanks for the kind words. It means a lot. Work is slow cause of Sparking Zero's recent release of course. But I'll try to keep working on the mod as much as I can!

3. Maybe there should be a way to get some subordinates of higher classes? if i am a elite i should be capable of using gold and prestige to invite some mid classes or another elite.
4. Is there a way to become pure saiyan from a hybrid or must i always marry for the purity of the bloodline? it would be cool to have a prideful or arrogant hybrid with a tail (or super saiyan) declare that he is of pure blood, and have the prestige and prowess to prove it in the eyes of other saiyans.

I also second @Flavius Nubel idea of tail mechanics, combined with fourth suggestion, imagine being a prideful hybrid without a tail, but going through a painful ritual to gain one, becoming wounded in the process just to prove you are a real saiyan.
Or the contrary being lazy and cutting it off just to not gain more stress or being compassionate and humble, not wanting the dread, and obviously that would be fun for roleplaying someone like Goku.

Pretty cool mod, i saw a little bit of the code last week(i wanted to see how classes worked), and i can say you are doing a good job, i just have some questions.
1. Why does being a saiyan give stewardship? even if they take many worlds i really don´t see them keping them and being the kind of people to manage a large realm meticulously or be picky with taxes and development, stewardship is all about the burocracy and i am not sure if saiyans are big fans of that.
2. I looked at the logs so i know they were added at different times(thank for that, some modders forget), but why are the tail and oozaru different traits? i always think of them as being extremely intertwined, if you have tail you can become a oozaru and if you are a oozaru you need to have a tail, also i liked how you made oozaru a leveled trait, i really like that mechanic, i just don´t like when mods add to many traits, one of the reasons i don´t play Princes of Darkness much.

@truelove101992 "Medieval Mutants" is an X-Men mod, right? I'm not too familiar with comics as a whole, clearly more of an anime/manga nerd. Although after I get this mod to a spot I'm happy with I'll see into it alongside the other mod you suggested.

Any chance you'd be willing to pick up the apparently dead "Medieval Mutants" mod? Seems like something potentially within your wheelhouse, and it would be really amazing to have it back. Also the deleted from steam (but findable online) "The Gods Walk Among Us - The Olympiad" mod as well, though idk if that one would be to your style or not.

The Ozaru form should be an automatic toggle form for Ai, but for players we should be able to activate it when ever we feel like, please refer to POD Werewolves Ai transformation anytime their leige engages in war

Also Flavius your suggestion about the Zenkai boost ( Tradition: Coming back from the Dead) I feel prowess should increase instead of martial. As it primarily makes them stronger and not so much a better strategist. Then again having a martial boost for once would be nice so we can leave it like that as it made the fighter more confident and sure of themselves and more successful performing under pressure against powerful foes. Overall you made the best contributions in the ideas to provide Holoky. credits to you and the mod author:steamthumbsup:

@Flavius Nubel amazing suggestions btw, they`re all excellent ideas. Only change I would make is to rather not have the Ozaru as shock troops men at arms, instead they should be traits assigned to people and anytime you enter war every character with that trait should get a +5 or 10 prowess boost (or more depending on how the author feels about it). Holoky you can literally just copy the mechanics from POD werewolf transformation that occurs when at war as there primary war form.

Also this should only be triggered if they are a Saiyan and have the tail trait as well as being in war.

If a second class has a tail it should give them a small stat debuff of prowess and intrigue which will be compensated by their OP war form (Ozaru form) while First class should have no debuff as Flavius suggested they over came their tail weakness

in general it would not be bad if you added a plot with the Saiyan invasion, and at the same time even added a mini-company for Goku or Vegeta.

it would be cool if you added characters from DB and you could give them all titles.

I like all of your suggestions.

1. The Saiyans are known for their strict hierarchy so I will definitely be looking into adding the ranks.

2. They should have dark hair & brown hair. If not, I'll see about fixing it.

3. Great idea, an obvious thing that slipped my mind.

4. I'm not entirely sure how to create custom fashion. So for right now they use Byzantine clothing, I think it suits the high-ranking Saiyan feel and the Byzantine armor works well.

5. Zenkai Boosts, I think they're called, are definitely a feature I want to add in.

6. Currently I'm pretty sure Saiyan tails have a low chance to be inherited. If they're still too common I'll lower the chance. I thought about giving Saiyan tails a negative as to represent the weak point but I'm not entirely sure how to adapt that. As for Oozaru I think having them as unique men-at-arms could work if not a little overpowered realistically.

5) Tradition: Coming back from the dead

After a defeat in combat, being seriously injured, cured of an illness, etc., it might be interesting to suddenly give a bonus in martial skills to Saiyans.

6) Tail's mechanics

The possession of a Saiyan tail among Hybrid Saiyans should be limited. Except for Son Gohan, no other hybrid Saiyans have been mentioned having a tail. I suppose we could give them a 1/5 chance of getting a tail.

I also wonder if we wouldn't be better off giving Saiyans of the elite caste a martial defense bonus, since they have learned to train their tails so that they are no longer their weak point.

It might also be interesting to have the possibility of getting rid of it, or even letting it grow again.

It might also be interesting to add something to the Oozarus topic in terms of mechanics. Maybe recruit them as shock troops?

3) Tradition: Sword for hire

Saiyans are represented as mercenaries, so this trait would do the job. Their specialty remains the capture and annihilation of planets, with a view to reselling them to the highest bidder.

4) Clothing

I suppose that we would have on one side civilian clothes, so either animal skin clothes (I'm thinking of the shaman's outfit) as well as those worn by Paragus & Broli in the first movie, so the togas should do the trick.

Otherwise, for the armors, I don't really know what to give them. The armor worn by the Saiyans seems to be both taken from the Tsufuls and at the same time worn by Frieza's armies.

Some suggestions :

1) Caste system

It could be interesting to add the notion of caste as a trait:

- first-rank saiyan, the elite: either the royal family (the Vegeta family) and their affiliates (Nappa, Paragus and his son Broly)
- second-rank saiyan: The family of Bardock, Goku, Radditz.

The elite saiyans should a priori have a martial bonus on the second-rank saiyans. The second-rank saiyans should also have a penalty in their relationship with the elite saiyans, as well as to govern, I imagine.

2) Dark hair colors

Make sure that the majority of pure Saiyans only have black and brown hair. No worries about having Saiyan half-breeds with different hair colors (Trunks and Bra). Maybe we could add orange hair, in homage to Vegeta's first coloring in the Dragon Ball Z anime.

I definitely have planned to have stats be a way of obtaining SS1 and above, if not the way of getting SS2+, but haven't gotten around to it. Oozaru I will definitely be adding probably next.
