heey can you make an mod that when npcs take damage (or die) by explosions they catch on fire?

Fair enough. I'd see my proposed behavior as an improvement, but if the goal is to mimic the original behavior then I agree with you

the original point_message doesnt vanish when the camera is out

Hiding the message when the camera is out is desirable behavior.

There are no instances where I take out the "hide all hud elements" weapon (The camera) and think "I sure am glad it didn't hide all of the hud elements"

its intended to draw over things since its a developer message, the drawhud hook would stop rendering when the camera is out

i could however add the convar

It would be helpful to include an option to set the font size with a convar.

Additionally, I would recommend changing your render hook, as the current one renders on top of the game's menu and loading screens which is not ideal

ended up changing it anyway on 2nd thought, it did look cooler and authentic
