To update the content you’ve uploaded to Steam, you can open the package project file in the Package Manager to view the content’s settings. This can be done through File -> Open. You will receive a warning if the content is already on steam that pressing upload again will update the existing file. Once the project is open, you can simply adjust everything you want and press upload to update the content on Steam.
It is also possible to edit the title and description in the Steam Client directly. If you did this and decide to edit the package project later on, you will get a pop-up which informs you of the change and it will ask you which text to use.
You can also just save the package without uploading it to Steam, so you can work on it and upload it at a later time. Note that if you do this and you’ve changed the title or description, the above mentioned pop-up will show up too.
Dont worry, if one day Triumph release the modding tools for doing a Total Conversation, I will work on it !
Thanks for your support !
By the way, sorry I cant upload the new version for some reasons I dont know, it creates another file in the workshop, thats my first time I use this, some help would be great ^^
I have read 30-50 books from BL about Warhammer Old World and spent around 4 years
playing Warhammer Age of Reckoning . Would be great to mod units and factions to be like in
Warhammer like Human Chaos factions, knight orders ,Empire etc . Lizardmen . Ratkin .
. Druchii
@Julius : Thank you ! Dont worry Im planning to make a map of the Old world and maybe Lustria !
@Herald of Nurgle : Obvious isnt it ? Cant wait for it ^^
I used the tool to raise and lower the terrain but sometimes it stills feel flat indeed. I will take a look about it :) But I think I succeeded to create rich continents even if sometimes it feels "wrong". I need to be polished, offcourse !
Some other remarks.
I've noticed, not only on your map, tthat map makers don't use the raise and lower terrain tool. This gives a flat feel to maps. Raising the mountains for example ads an added layer to the game. If you raise the mountains a lot you then can modulate the rest of the terrain.
Picking and mixing terrain objects gives a more filled and unique feel to your map and breaks the monotony of large surfaces of the same terrain.
The following link is to tips and tricks for AoW 2: SM a lot of it is not applicable anymore but the gist of it remains.
http://aow2.heavengames.com/aowsm/library/scenariodesign/section2/gallery.shtml
But I'm glad people are starting to release scenario's keep up the good work.
Although I made maps for AoW2 I don't see myself learning a programming language to make maps in aow 3 I'm afraid. So if I offended you in any way I'm sorry, didn't mean to.
The leaders are not modified, you need to do it yourself, I gave example but I wanted you do make your own Warhammer legends !
@Yarxov : these are the locations of the major factions of Warhammer (Naggaroth, Ulthuan, Old World, Kislev, Badlands and a bonus one, Nipon Islands, not really balanced ;) I noticed that Its hard to expand when you are one of the 3 in the middle (old world/badlands).
I started a thread about balance, dont hesitate to post your ideas there :)
I will add this note to the description, thank you !
Its a quite similar world to our but with Orcs, Elven, Dwarves...
Why ? Ask the makers of Warhammer, I dont know but that was a good idea :)
