@Vseman hmm, I'll analyze it... I consider Smaller Cities a late-game mod where there are a lot of crowded buildings. In late-game, it helps performance for those with limited graphics, and I like the aesthetic.

An alternative is to use the other version of this mod alongside 'Modern City' https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3378734097

can we get rid of smaller cities? it's nice to look at a mega urban megapolis for a change, and i feel like 'modern city' mod feels better with a huge city

GDP Ownership Display removed o7 :denied:

More Coat of Arms for Powerblocs added :approved: (tentatively; if there is too much opposition I will consider removing it)

@Speedy-Druck I'm glad you like this compilation. Unfortunately, the only thing I can think of is to create a game bundle containing Dense UI and the Dense UI & Others graphics mods separately, without Smaller Cities

The other, more tedious option is to subscribe to Smaller Cities, go to its file location, identify its folders within Dense UI & Others, and then delete the specific folders. The problem is that every time I update the mod, the deleted folders will be reinstalled, and you'd have to repeat the steps each time

Hi, I really enjoy using the 'Dense UI & Others' pack with the 24 mods included. I was wondering if there’s a way to remove 'Smaller Cities [1.9]' from the pack without having to switch to the separate 'Dense UI' mod?
Znikii Sep 24 @ 1:03pm
Yeah! That would be awesome.... hahaha, in fact, it gave me bunch of ideas how much deeper you could go with it! :D
Kropotkin  [author] Sep 24 @ 10:54am
@Znikii something like this? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3449542887

I have been considering for some time whether to add said mod :lunar2020thinkingtiger:
Znikii Sep 24 @ 10:33am
Would it be possible to add GDP per capita info?
Kropotkin  [author] Sep 23 @ 8:52am
Works correctly in version 1.10 :approved:
Kropotkin  [author] Sep 14 @ 1:41pm
@Gekoeko Well, I'm glad... that's how I've played singleplayer for a long time. One day, I decided to share my list of mods that I use, which are incredibly compatible (except for some irrelevant details), and it became popular... I hope more people can enjoy it :mailedfist:
Gekoeko Sep 14 @ 1:24pm
I've been looking for UI & Performance mods for so long, and just today I find 3 of the best I've ever seen, amazing, made my shitty day a couple times better.
Gekoeko Sep 14 @ 1:23pm
Yes it did!!! Thank you so much.
It looks so much better, I might play more Vicky 3 just from these improvements <3 (also some performance mods)
Kropotkin  [author] Sep 14 @ 1:09pm
@Gekoeko did it work? :coolstar2022:
Gekoeko Sep 14 @ 12:36pm
Kropotkin, if this works well, it's a godsend, thank you!
Kropotkin  [author] Jul 21 @ 8:07pm
Improved Company List and Investment Queue have been added. Regarding the latter, if there's a lot of resistance, I might consider removing it from the list. This is currently an experimental use :hardhat:

@Miotacz Plodow

Mod 4 - Paper map is 712mb.
Miotacz Płodów Jun 28 @ 5:47pm
Why does it weigh 700MB?
Coldfusion Jun 28 @ 10:50am
Consider swapping to this topbar mod, the author of the one included in this said it is an improvement and he will no longer be maintaining his. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3508296963
ааааа Jun 27 @ 4:39am
game has changed very good
Kropotkin  [author] Jun 25 @ 12:31pm
@Tim Apple in the description there is a link to the alternative mod in which only the interface changes are applied and not the graphic changes
Tim Apple Jun 25 @ 11:30am
Oh shit sorry.

Btw any chance of a version without the Paper Map? Its the only part that isn't UI and I'd rather use another map mod or the vanilla map.
Kropotkin  [author] Jun 24 @ 4:09pm
@Tim Apple the mod has been incorporated for some time now... in the list of mods in the description it is number 7 :mailedfist:
Tim Apple Jun 24 @ 9:42am
Can you add "GDP ownership" mod too? Its super useful now when you can have massive companies in other countries.
Kropotkin  [author] Jun 22 @ 1:57pm
@Doken very possibly... it's not currently included in the mod anyway. I'll wait a few weeks before updating the final list and screenshots :approved:
Doken Jun 22 @ 1:42pm
Looks like 4 won't be updated anymore, @Kropotkin will you be removing it from the list?
依然一笑作春温 Jun 19 @ 3:32am
nice mod!thank u!update everyday!
Kropotkin  [author] Jun 18 @ 8:29am
[1.9] Some broken mods have already been fixed. They will continue to be updated as the creators update them :Intelligentsia:

PD: Thanks @UncleOwnage :MDuck:
UncleOwnage Jun 18 @ 12:49am
Thanks for the quick update, I was dying yesterday with the vanilla UI!
yr-tva Mar 22 @ 3:57am
Thank you
Kropotkin  [author] Mar 13 @ 6:06pm
@yr-tva with this mod, you can play with all the mods on the list—you don't have to activate 18 mods separately. The mod makes that process easier, and it's very useful for multiplayer games. It's a personal selection, so there may be mods that aren't to everyone's liking

I've individualized the 18 mods to give them visibility and credit to the creators. The idea is also to allow those who don't like my mod to access the specific mods that caught their attention
yr-tva Mar 13 @ 11:29am
So, is it a compilation of all the mods listed or do I have to subscribe to every single one on the list to have it? Kinda confusing description ngl
Gaven Feb 15 @ 4:12am
Maybe explain what the compilation does instead of what the other ui mod only does? =p
CountCristo Feb 6 @ 2:33pm
Thanks so much for this, really can't play without it.
Greatly appreciate your work on compatability & updating
Kropotkin  [author] Jan 14 @ 5:30pm
@Quinnius exactly. You are great. Thanks a lot... i will update both mods :Industrialist:

thanks a lot for that info!

and thanks for the recommendation... when I master that tool I will try new designs... you are probably right that the open/close ends up being redundant (personally I never liked that vanilla implementation)

(pd: I already saved the code)
Quinnius Jan 14 @ 11:05am
I recommend Visual Studio Code with the plugins (https://vic3.paradoxwikis.com/Modding) . That helps a lot, finding the pairs of each bracket in a simple text editor would make me lose my patience too fast.

Btw, if you go down that approach, I feel the open/close control is pointless and you might want to replace the section_header_buttons with text_boxes. That would also make the whole thing pretty.
Quinnius Jan 14 @ 10:57am
@Kropotkin like this?

(This is a temporary mod for you to take the code, then I will delete)

Both, THX
Kropotkin  [author] Jan 12 @ 5:31pm
@Lilo of Rivia I find those filters very visually invasive... I tried to leave them at the bottom but I'm not good with lines of code... every time I tried to do it the interface got out of order. It was easier for me to remove that part of the code

I will keep trying, or if anyone else wants to take my idea of leaving the filters at the end and not at the beginning of the interface I would be very grateful :Intelligentsia:
Quinnius Jan 10 @ 6:47am
@lilo_of_rivia Since I have already done this, I might as well uploaded.

Is it possible to get the two trading tabs (High Demand, High Supply. Or whatever they are called) back?
Kropotkin  [author] Jan 6 @ 4:07pm
@mrclrchtr thanks! i will keep both mods updated as long as i can
mrclrchtr Jan 6 @ 1:03pm
Thanks for keeping the mod updated! It´s such a nice compilation!
Alma_Negra Dec 15, 2024 @ 8:37am
I see. I would change it myself but there isn't very much documentation of V3 UI modding
Kropotkin  [author] Dec 13, 2024 @ 10:59am
@Alma_Negra it would be great if these ideas were implemented in the game. Unfortunately I'm not very good with lines of code. I only compile and adjust small details :hardhat:
Alma_Negra Dec 11, 2024 @ 12:50pm
I have some request for some UI changes if you can be so kind to make:

#1) I would like to be able to select more than one filter for the Groups/Owners filer in the buildings tab and the registry.

#2) If you can, it would help to add three boxes in the census page that lets you filter between upper/lower/middle strata (You can only select the all/none filters.

#3) Can you put the notifications in a scrollable box instead of having it overlapping the outliners in the cases where notifications are overflowing?

#4) There's inconsistency in the button highlights in both Census filter and the building filters.

I'll leave another comment for the links

The Show Weekly GDP Diff mod was permanently removed for bugging the legislative failures event.

Taking advantage of the situation, the GDP Plotline Plus mod has been added. I'm open to removing it if it's too disruptive, although it's a very popular mod :diplomacy:
NobodyHere Dec 4, 2024 @ 12:58am
When I'm enacting a law and the success chance goes to 0%, this mod causes the game to not pop legislative failure and get a setback. Instead it keeps going and even goes into the negatives (even if it doesn't show on the tooltip). Not sure if it's a bug, intended or some strange interaction between the mods compiled into this but I've tested the game with only this mod enabled and it keeps happening.
Kropotkin  [author] Dec 1, 2024 @ 4:50pm
Hi @SuperBearNut It turns out that before creating this mod I was playing with all of these mods (and more), and I wanted to compile them to make it easier to organize my single and multiplayer games

As you mention, Smaller Cities goes outside the UI and QoL boundaries. I incorporated these off-topic mods because I like them a lot (and for readability). In the case of your mod, I like that in the late game the physical map looks much more organic than in vanilla. I know that it is a personal opinion and that it is possible that many players do not like the tonality of the paper map, the text font or the small cities, but since the subscribed people kept their subscription I assumed that they liked the list

The mod in less than 3 months reached 1.5k subscribers, which I interpret as an endorsement of the list. It also serves to make the mods visible, so I would prefer to keep it. Although as the creator of Smaller Cities if you asked me to remove it I would respect your decision
