I REALLY want this to be fixed after watching Opsiians playthrough

Yeah I had the same problem when I start a new cycle, I had to restart as a new journey to play it.

@seabergber yeah the only problem there is seems to be that the next cycle will fail to load

it doesn't seem like a big issue so please just patch it, this mod is my favourite and all dependencies already updated

btw seaberg that palette is an debug palette used if the game can't load the real palette
it shows up on inv because outskirts was set to have no palette on their campaign

Bug please fix!
In any version before the watchers update opening game when Drought is loaded brings me to a endless loading screen, Mods: all vanilla mods besides expedition, mouse drag + aim anywhere, and the required mods by drought.
Other bug.
In the newest version of rain world everything works fine until I finish the first cycle and wake up in which the game freezes the palette looks like inv's and closing the game and trying to renter the campaign cause the white screen of death to appear.

Game also wont save items in shelters after hibernation-- nor do they go in inventory slots w/ Inventory mod.

the mod is broken (as mentioned in the title), so I tried to change the game's version to v1.9 and that didn't work either. I could try going back to v1.5 but I didn't want to and I assume it might still be broken in that version as well. The game would crash and get stuck on a white screen of death.

@tetemagon they DID say that it isn't compatible with the watcher yet

the mod works just fine but for some reason every time a new cicle starts it deletes all the items any campains carried, including stuff you stored in your belly.

@ntt_ apperantly its the reason why its made that way is because its to supposed to be compatible both with dlc and without dlc

And i find a bit unnecessary remove the gates to Metropolis and Outer Expanse, but thats only my opinion

RainDB is the original mod website before we got the workshop
being nowadays the archival of older versions of mods as well as being a mirror download for players who are pirating the game

yes i know there is GOG players but 90% of people who use mirror downloads are pirates

I found out how to let it work on older patches! It is because of the dependencies, they are updated to the newer version, and are not compatible with drought anymore. To fix this, download all the mods manually in rainworldDB and use the "legacy direct" button to install them. I used 1.9.15b for this. Put them in ur mod folder and done!

Doesn't work even on older patches. I feel like you the title should mention that it doesn't work at all, regardless of patch or if you own the Watcher.

currently, the mod doesnt work. I tried to disable all mods, but it just stops working after u end a cycle, giving u a white screen

I love this mod and I eagerly await when it'll be Watcher-ready again. Of course shit takes time, and I encourage you to take all the time you need. You've done great with it! <3

i dont wanna be mr impatient over here but when is this mod gonna be fixed?

i just don't have the will to play the game without the drought regions being available

when you port it to 1.10 could you also make so survivor monk and hunter can still visit some downpour regions like outer expanse and submerged superstructure

and allow downpour slugs to visit the wanderer regions(you can exclude saint i guess)

also, its not just incompatible with watcher, its also incompatible with the newest update, 1.10.1

the wiki describes it as an alternate universe, so yes it technically is an au, just an official one. this is most likely the same with Watcher.

@OxyToxy365 it has some inconsistencies with the base game and also funnels trough interpretations of certain lore elements like the cycle being timeline stuff

i also considered downpour semi cannon as it seems they had 2 writers
one in charge of the iterators and one with everything else and the iterator one knew what he was doing

then watcher came arround and made me go
"Perhaps i judge you too harshly" to downpour

i kinda disagree with calling downpour an au i've always seen it as canon

@Kaelygon the game is broken because of the watcher dlc and not having the dlc will still break it.

I installed only the additional mods that workshop prompted, I got no DLCs.
Playing on linux

Frequent frame drops and the game bricks the save file after hibernating. Even when I reload the save the game is stuck at Loading... and I can't open the dev menu
This happened many times in the starting area and even in sky islands.

btw the mod is almost working on the new version it just messes with saving the game and wanderer had his tail rings removed

i thought it got fixed since i could finally start playing but my save got corrupted at the second shelter 😭
