Is it possible to add the avian trait category flag to the Avali species? They added egg laying and flight to the base game but it's limited to avian and arthropoid.

the bio ship issue does cause the player (and any empire using the avali ship type) to be bugged, please fix?

for some reason this mod seems to force the base DLC synth/machine shipset to be "avali", likely due to the city/shipset bug, which breaks the shipset into being classified as "biological" since the mod is outdated. Any plans to update this? it's a must-have mod for me and many others. another modder named Little Tee has also seemed to figure out how to fix the cities/shipset bug as well, so if you could implement that in your own mod it would probably fix the current issue without actually touching on the 4.0 issues

Would it be possible to have those planned features as a separate mod? I like these portraits, I dislike portrait mods that add a ton of other content than the portraits though.

I don't mind namelists but the extra techs and traits etc tend to get me to skip portrait mods entirely.

As for why that happened, stellaris is weird and doesn't have a fallback for languages that doesn't have the associated localisation files

It seems the namelists will bust when setting language to Chinese ,tested without any other mods,avali names and fleet names will show up like AVALI_NAME_XXX. Is this a bug or I'm not getting something right?

I couldn't reproduce this behaviour and have no other reports of the game crashing from this mod, so I think your game is just broken

Oop, sorry. I somehow got confused and got the original mod name completely wrong xp
It was supposed to be Avali Animated Portrait (AAP) and not (ASP)
The required mod is already linked in the side bar, at least

As for their species category, they're still Avali but all the issues related to that are already fixed unless you use mods that adds species-specific traits
