The mod and the compatches have now been updated and new variants of purple eyes have been added. The red and yellow eyes have also been changed due to the updated colour palette

Yes it needs because color palette changed. With change of color palette strong seeds don't work correct

Does this mod need an update? I remember when I click on the strong seed decision, the houses which already have strong seeds have their trait displayed on the decision page, but just now I found nothing displayed anymore. Did you hide it intentionally or is it broken rn?

i was going to upload a screenshot but its seems i can't so i will just describe the best a can. when you click on a county it will say county in the same realm as you or various different things. i guess its a new feature as this mod breaks it

Update: I'm pretty sure the issue was the AGOT: HOTD House Velaryon mod. Once I disabled it the skin colors appear correctly. I used to be able to use both but not anymore. I choose your mod if that's the case lol

I've tried it at the very top and the very bottom of my load order. I'll try to load it by itself to see if that's the issue as well! It was working fine before the last update

@ShayOneTime What is your load order? There are a lot of skin colours. The darker skin colours should be present, but I will take a look at it. The skin colour saturation will either make your character more or less saturated, which will lead to them becoming more orange.

All skin colors display as pale and turning up the saturation only makes my character orange. Am I missing something?

This submod isn't designed for vanilla CK3 and won't work without the AGOT mod, so I'm afraid I can't really answer that question - sorry!

The submod has been updated and should now work with the latest AGOT version. The other compatches are still waiting on updates to their respective mods. I did upload new versions of the compatches earlier today before I realized AGOT had updated (it was updated on the 28th, but I wasn’t aware), so I’ll likely need to update them again soon.

If you're referring to the mod’s picture, you're right—it was generated using an AI tool. I'm not a graphic designer and didn’t plan to create original artwork myself. I understand that might not be ideal for everyone, but I don’t have plans to change it. That said, if you’re interested in creating a new image or logo for the mod, I’d be more than happy to feature it. Let me know!

Question: In the vanilla game of CK3, how would trait inheritance work between two characters with strong seeds? How would strong seed traits be inherited in that case?

@Ahura I can however see that the AGOT mod has been updated - especially its GUI and localization issues, which will probably have an impact on my submods.

@Ahura: Thanks for the question! I’ll look into what might be causing the warning text. That said, you should be good to use the mod if you're playing as a custom character who is also a Targaryen bastard cadet founder. It should work without any issues.

However, if you’re using a pre-existing character like Aegor Bittersteel, the mod won’t work. In that case, you’ll need to get an heir and apply the custom strong seed to him/her. His/her children will inherit it.

@bardurh: The warning text in game the custom strong seed mentions it not working correctly if you're playing from certain dynasties. If I've already created a bastard branch am I safe to then use the strong seed.

For instance my character is a bastard from house targaryen, I had a child and have created a bastard branch. Can I go ahead and make a custom strong seed.

Apparently 6 or so hours after my last comment the author of Sundry fixed the compatibility issue on their end, simply needing to load Sundry under this mod.

A compatch with Sundry would be amazing, both of these mods are sort of must haves.
Also looking forward to the other compatches being updated, but I imagine that will have to wait till the other mods are updated also.

@franeurysm In that case I would advise you to reinstall all Game of Thrones related mods. I have just tested the Minor House Flavour & AGOT+ compatch and it works as intended. You might also have some other mods enabled, which conflict with my mod/mods.

Been playing around with this and the various compatches on the latest update with a new save - doesn't seem to be working, strong seeds don't seem to be applying to the character at all.
