ah i didnt realize that and i started with few empires not realizing the automatons and terminids were crisis factions

AI empires contribute to major orders as well so you don't have to do everything yourself. Either you are playing with very few AI empires or just got very unlucky because when I played multiple times I had over 50% completion of major orders without even trying to complete it. Yes its hard in the early game but that is just how the mod is balanced around.

this needs to be retuned heavily. many of these are just impossible no matter what point in the game you are. it needs to scale somehow to the progress and have checks to make sure the orders it even make sense or are possible to do, and give a greater amount of time to do them in case of things like building things and research. ive set armies building the moment the order came in and had the construction going for the whole order period and still failed, same with researching techologies, ive spammed fast ones as much as possible and still failed

You miss out on big rewards that can float your economy sky high but other than that no because you're gonna miss some orders in the early game anyways

Is there any penalty if we ignore the Orders and just hold onto Malevon Creek forever?

Honestly i think you should put all the mods together into a Single mod (to Prevent Bloat in the Mod List) or atleast make a collection.

Besides that looks like a nice mod that could be a addon to other Helldiver mods.
