*POST V2 UPDATE*

20:32 Solo Hold w/ Bots.

Criticism: in comparison to the previous version of the map, this one wipes the floor with its' better gameplay, more interesting layout (size changes), and better randomized loot. I like the holds available in the map, and while I'm yet to do laps, I'm sure lapping is doable. The layout being closed off at the beginning is a neat homage to the original gameplay of BB, and the doors opening is a nice touch. There only being 4 kits is an interesting move, but a welcome one, as I find maps with too many kits being kind of boring to play in some ways. I think people are going to enjoy this version a lot more. 8/10.

Yea.. this is one of my earlier works, (i still was trying to understand how to make L4D2 gameplay fun) a complete overhaul is planned however. Dont worry!

13:00 Solo Lap.

Criticism: for a survival map, this map features a lot of random elements. Given it's about Baldi's Basics, that makes sense, but for a fun survival map, this sadly falls flat on that. I heavily dislike how the amount of kits is randomized, and how unfun the ammo pile locations are. Not to mention the auto shotgun area not being added to the navmesh, causing director spit simply by entering the closet (although, the closet itself seems unfinished, as there's a hole in the void in there). The secret area is questionable, but I like how it was included. For doing this solo, this map is very unfun, constantly resetting just to get a single attempt, and the fact the fog never disappears if you finish a run with it enabled is silly. I could go for much higher times on this, but I won't bother as it's pretty clear this map doesn't respect the player even a little bit. 3/10.

9.2/10. Peak, I remember when the servers shitting themselves while playing this before and totally didn't lose my mind during it. I was sent to the shadow realm with homie because of severe propane poisoning

I easily missed the radio, which made me look way longer than I needed to. Also, you can stand on top of the lunchroom tables and zombies cant get you. out of bounds spit does spawn, but jumping between tables isnt hard.

-The map's lighting and graphics, i understand it's Baldi's Schoolhouse but it's still pretty primitive, and extremely dark. Some rooms are PITCH BLACK without the flashlight, and the lighting makes the Common Infected look really awkward in some spots. Not even the flashlight is enough to see sometimes. Also, the map crashes when loaded in with high shader settings, for some reason. Though if the settings are changed after the map is loaded in, it handles it, it's odd. I had to restart my game thrice before understanding it was about the graphics.

-The loading screen seems to be broken, going fully black and sometimes jittering into view or glitching. Is it supposed to be a gif? I'm confused.

-Something about the bots in this map is extremely broken. Some Specials spawn out of bounds (i could hear a Boomer but NEVER find it), you can always hear them but never see them, along with the problem i mentioned on the point above about some Specials spawning too far away, rendering them useless and having them suicide out of frustration. Now for the Survivor bots, it's even more confusing. (For reference i'm playing as Ellis) On my first game, Coach did not move at all, refusing to follow me ever since the game finished loading. BUT on the second time, Rochelle and Nick were the ones not following and Coach did follow me. Then only Rochelle and Coach, then only Rochelle, etc.. So what's up..? Everytime it's different.

-It doesn't help that the map's layout is very big and confusing, but hey, it's Baldi's Schoolhouse! I can understand. The issue is that this causes a skill level to be completely unnecessary here since the wide space of the map can easily have you evade from the Infected, Tanks and Specials de-spawn when you run far away and i literally took 2 Tanks like they were nothing due to how wide the lunch area is. Seriously that room makes you invincible, it's a STADIUM. It's..a very big map, with very big rooms.
I REALLY like those secret underground-esque spots behind the broken walls the Infected can spawn from though, i like the idea!

Hello! I just wanted to write my review and experience with the map. I like the idea, it's very faithful to the aspect the map has on the original Baldi's basics, minus the doors but the doors being the Left 4 Dead 2 ones has its charm. Man, feels weird playing a school map with guns..jokes aside though.

I have a few tips and critiques i can give for the map: (of course friendly critiques, i like the map, no hate)

-Make the weapons closer to the spawning area, along with all the needed supplies like items and throwables, along with the starting radio. (It is close to spawn but i still had to search a lot) I went through the entirety of the map just to finally get a tier 2 weapon, which i found in the lunch area, that took a while. In Survival everything should be close to the player's starting point and not be looked for.
