amazing mod

all of the half life guns were released with the mod itself, when my coding was horrible and i barely knew how to make mods so if i did add the ar2 back then id have to make it fire bullets instead of those plasma projectiles that it fires in actual half life 2|

but im better now, and i can actually make a functional ar2, so ill make it for next update

On every gun we have in half life 2 you left a reference but you don't add AR2?

4 weeks ago a bunch of people posted comments under a bandi video to "review the bfdi mod by o21xc" but he never ended up doing it, idk if that says the mod is shit or that its not popular enough for people like him to review/cover but yeah

nah im just stupid and ripped the sound from phantom forces and havent updated it/loudened it since

i usually louden newer guns if i rip their sound from a game

The mosin sounds pretty quiet to be a mosin, is it meant to be in subsonic rounds?

for spriting, nowadays i cobble together sprites out of the guns already in the mod or i just heavily look at reference images lol

a ton of AK's from last time are just the AK47 but with a different grip/barrel

also not to mention how lazy i was with the scars, its just a recolored scar L, all 4 of them.

remember, practice and reference images are key for pixel art like this. my first gun mods sprites looked so bad i had to delete it cuz of how much i hated that mod. for the better though as it only got 100 subscribers, which then motivated me to make this mod so

eh ill see if i can make that mod work, it could be burnout too making me demotivated to work on it but idk lol

atleast my brutal half life mod proved im not that bad when it comes to making other mods (im still bad tho)

ill try to get this update out by the 14th anyway

@Crispy i recommend using that one mod that automatically repositions body parts, so you can reposition the arms to fit them in the BAR.

also if i make the guns smaller thatd just be BORING. we like big guns

This is one of the best mods for people playground ever. id really like to see the Benneli M4 in the next update, and if you make re-scale some of the models because some guns like the BAR are giant compared to humans.

I couldn't figure it out. If we could talk on discord that would be better. I tried up to 7f but that was still slightly too large, so i scaled it up to 7.5 and It started giving me the 'Feature 'top-level statements' is not available in C# 7.3. Please use language version 9.0 or greater.' Error.
