This mod is amazing, but I find it really difficult to research everything all before more just come piling in, I ended up having to cheat in RP just to catch up. Those researched features are alsao much harder to implement without seeing the percentage of death. Do you think you can change the amount of RP generated from things like games and engines and also change how much your custom features influence the feature threshold?

I will probably rebalance the weightings for each platform, I quickly checked the code and I found some that are totally wrong.
Maybe I should do it based on a mix of how many games of that genre have been made for the platform and how popular a game on that list is.

I'd also probably change the GDS's RPG match to +++ (matches better with the GS, and the 3DS had a lot of great RPGs)

Ah, I haven't tried all of the platform combos yet. I'll go ahead and do that.

I gave platformer a good score on Advanced, but if not then it could be due to a bug on how genre functions works. I'd appreciate a lot if you could let me know if that's the case.

I'd probably change the Gameling successors (Color, Advanced) to have the same baseline genre matches (like Casual being +++). Advanced should probably have a good platformer score, as the GBA was pretty good at platformers.

I admit I made some of the genre balances quite randomly, I should go back on them and do a bigger rebalance

you know something to add is the different gens of pcs like the 8086 286 386 486 when win 3 95 98 etc...... I mean pc games took over from the mid-late 90s and the game doesn't reflect that

Updates will slow down because of school, however that doesn't mean I will stop. I'm working and adding new features to my mod, although It'll require more time and troubleshooting.

Aside from some sprites, I made them by remixing assets from the original game in IbisPaint X and some basic drawing. I'm pretty much satisfied with most of the results
