Nice quick mission. I liked the design of the town, and the mine and lake were also cool setpieces. The technicians were useless though because you don't get any materials, nor are there any bug attack waves to defend from. I'd suggest putting some bugs in the mine and having it be a side objective to clear out that grants you materials to fortify the town from attack waves.

Overall its a good skeleton for a mission. You should definitely update this or make a v2 at some point.
