garry's mod is a sandbox, customizable to fit the player's wants. you are correct that everything is a visual enhancement but arguing that it isnt 'realism' is stupid, as true realism is impossible to recreate. also the point that visual enhancements dont make games realistic is also boggin because they do, because unrecord and bodycam look realistic, and they get carried by colour correction, lighting, and bloom, which are all visual enhancements.
