Good to hear. Have fun.
You need UI-Overhaul Dynamic installed to run SBX.(see REQUIRED ITEMS above).
It can be the case that Steam did not update it properly. Un-sub and re-sub to it to force Stean to update UI-O.
SBX runs fine with 4.1. I've tested it with my full mod-set active and no problem at all.
The production modifiers should work for all shipsets as they are universally valid as long as PDX does not change their scope.
3.) I mean that, there are modules which boost production of certain ship classes such as corvets or cruisers. I was wondering how those translate to bioships, or space fauna if they work with beast ports.
Preliminary remark:
Starbases can’t be designed like ships in the designer by default.
To answer your questions:
1. The default modules (displayed when you hit the "?" in the command view) are modified and stronger than in vanilla.
They update according to the tech (starbase- and tech-level) you research. Those can't be actively designed.
2. Due to the amount of modules and buildings available in SBX you are able to "design" the individual layout of the starbase and to specialize them but there are limits to the amount of modules you can build(e.g. 2 T weapon modules only / see tooltips).
3. There are no shipset restrictions for the shipyard modules.
Sorry if I'm just blind.
This situations is following to be described (in your eazyness)
>I Beg for a lagecy port
>did for 4 month nothing but i want to play stellaris with mods
>get boring
>publish legacy port himself
>he get mad for real and threat me for DMCA sue via steam
>I talk with him but without successful
>I am be forced to delisted it.
>he threat everyone with DMCA (Nintendo mode Activated)
>feed every trolls by now
>me Totally confused and feared by now
>He goes out of his way to give me one, but asks I don’t republish it
>Republish it
>He gets mad and has it taken down
Damn what an ass am I right I am the victim here
"Furthermore I’m not your “bro” and your wording shows what kind of mindset you have and what kind of person you are."
nobody cares i am what i am, and i stand what am i. Judging people by what they are and what they should be is arrogant, rude, insulting, and so pretty condescending. I thought you were smart.
and i quote your last sentence:
"As a consequence of the below I will not provide legacy versions to anyone in the future."
well that is a very very bad idea dude. you have been feeding all trolls like a gourmets restaurant for free. and I'd seriously consider becoming a bit more tolerant in this regard. Besides being a lolcow here is a sad display. If I were you, I'd slow down a bit. is my dear recommendation and a request to you and i mean it to be honest.
give you last word and then is a goodbye until you come down.
but anyway i hidden this legacy that no one can access it.
Fact is that you have asked me for a legacy version of the mod and I gave it to you as a courtesy for your personal use and asked you NOT to upload or spread the legacy version SBX to any DL site including Steam which you agreed to.
You obviously ignored that and have to bear the consequences.
Thank you very much that you put down your intention in writing here. I have made a screenshot of your comments which is evidence and proof of your further intentions.
Furthermore I’m not your “bro” and your wording shows what kind of mindset you have and what kind of person you are. You are lucky that I did not file an official DMCA takedown complaint with all the legal consequences against you yet which I could have done and still can.
@All
As a consequence of the below I will not provide legacy versions to anyone in the future.
Thanks for the heads-up. Another doooohhh moment if you know what I mean.......
You might want to add a bit to the 'load this low' part in the mod description.
No problem.
Now that I have a clue, I can at least try to do something about it XD
They are overwriting the 00_orbital ring files with their content which changes the required components for the rings.
SBX blocks those overwrites but with the effect that the files from STNC don't work properly any more because of the changed requirements.
In short it's not just overwrites but changed components too.
Fingers crossed for your venture.
I had a look at the files of STNC and sorry but no.
I would have to overwrite their overwrites and to keep tracking the further development of the mod to keep SBX up-to-date with it. Too much effort. I hope you understand.
Maybe you find a modder who is willing to script a compat-patch as a seperate mod.
No problem with .23 on my side. That's all I can tell.
Probably a mod conflict or wrong load order.
thx
Nope. Check my previous comments below to see how to get it.
Not for that. :-) Was a piece of cake.
Mod Updated To Version 1.2.2.
New:
- Hardened SVX 3.0 against overwrites from (-NSC2 Addon: Civilian Ships Weaponized 2-)
Load order:
- (-NSC2 Addon: Civilian Ships Weaponized 2-)
- SBX 3.0
SBX will be updated in 5 minutes.
You can use the (-NSC2 Addon: Civilian Ships Weaponized 2-) again after it.
Good to hear that you found the culprit. Have fun with SBX.
I got rid of it so everything works fine now
First of all sorry for deleting your post by accident.
Please see my posts below. I do run 4.0.22.
My error log does not show the errors you postet.
I assume they are caused by another mod as SBX uses e.g. the vanilla fonts only. The components listed in your log do not exist in SBX 3.0.
Sorry but no.
I've tested it with NSC active before I did reply to the post of Barteg. I get all slots on my side.
I would post a screenshot if it would be possible here.
There is defo a mod conflict caused either by overwrites from a nother mod or the wrong load order on your side.
Sounds like a mod conflict. All I can say that it is not NSC that causes the issue on your side.
I have no clue why, seems like in my case the mod fails to override NSC3
In theory yes; but I won't.
The station is available for DLC users only and I have no intention to add a DLC check to the mod.
