Arc Furnace System Locator +

This is a long shot, but the Mindwarden Origin has one outcome be the relic: The Dreamer, which allows you to terraform Shrouded Worlds and also spawns 1-3 within your territory. Finding these (or other, if it works on other shrouded worlds) is a gargantuan pain when it might take 10 or 20 years between to get them and borders expand in that time. Any chance shrouded worlds can be located if one has that relic?

Thank you for your maintenance

This is an essential mod when you reach 3 arch furnaces and then the game bugs out.
Because after unlocking up to 5 through mega engineering, the game no longer shows you the tooltip for the ideal arch furnaces.
This mod also shows you 3/3 when it should be 3/5, but at least you can still click and check the ideal systems for the furnace. Great.

Thanks for this mod! It has been a staple in my games for ages.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I think something has gone wonky with the Arc Furnace system locator since I last played Stellaris. It is giving me the systems with the most current deposits, not the systems with the most potential deposits once I build an Arc Furnace. This could be related to the fact that I was searching before I actually had the Arc Furnace technology? Otherwise I'm not sure why it is doing that.

Would it be possible to make it more "compatible" with Gigastructures Engineering?
It would be nice if one would be able to find "kilo science" and "seed" systems as well (and the others....)

@♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ It's on my to-do list!
There's a new starbase building called pyroclastic resonator that scales on the amount of molten worlds in the system. Can you add a locator for the system with the most molten worlds? Very appreciated

Still works in the latest DLC, not sure if it needs an update but would be nice to check just in case.

But how will it go if the interface is turned up by turning edicts on? Now this mod is a bit inconvenient because we have to go to capital planet management to turn its interface on.
kinngrimm Sep 3 @ 1:19pm
playing Darkspace Nomad origin ... no planet ... no capital
The Engineer Pop Aug 31 @ 1:55am
Yes. It goes well.
kenlon Aug 31 @ 1:41am
Does this work and play well with 4.x?
Nehebsis Aug 20 @ 11:03am
@Martok, the mod seems to work fine on 3.14.
Martok Aug 16 @ 1:48am
Hey, @sirblackaxe! I'm just wondering whether your (most excellent) mod should still work with 3.14 (minus the habitat search). If not, you wouldn't happen to be uploading the legacy version anytime soon, would you?
Apex Predator Aug 9 @ 8:02am
This is the best QOL mod for Stellaris ever made.
Stephince Aug 6 @ 1:03am
How have I never seen this mod before?!
Toaster Jul 5 @ 2:51pm
Hey, I owned the system way before the popup and I'm running no other mods except UI stuff. How can I send you the save? I sent a friend request in the meantime
sirblackaxe  [author] Jul 5 @ 9:29am
@Toaster That doesn't make sense to me either (assuming you didn't gain ownership of the system while the popup was already open, and aren't running another mod that changes where you're allowed to build arc furnaces). I'd need a save from before you built either furnace to investigate, though. I'll see if I can reproduce it myself next game I play.
Toaster Jul 5 @ 2:47am
Can you help me understand this one? The popup says 19 but the system is not shown on the list

Sorry!
sirblackaxe  [author] Jun 29 @ 8:42am
@The Engineer Pop this mod doesn't do anything with system tooltips, so your issue is unrelated. You may be looking for the Dyson Swarm System Tooltip mod rather than this one.
The Engineer Pop Jun 28 @ 9:44pm
Has a bug now. When I hover mouse cursor on the solar system, Dyson Sphere output is not be shown. Instead the system's name is shown.
Night Jun 26 @ 12:19pm
I checked with the russian localization - everything works well, thanks to the author for the quick fix.
sirblackaxe  [author] Jun 24 @ 4:34pm
@Radar the issue I had resolved was a change in how the game handles the `this` scope in localization (it no longer works and had to be replaced with `planet` or `solar_system` in a bunch of places), so the files impacted were the localisation\<language>\sba_system_search_l_<language>.yml ones.
Radar Jun 24 @ 2:31pm
As of the 24th it still only shows a copy of the home system's star. Not sure why. What files control this so I can look for duplicates.
HikennoAce Jun 21 @ 1:20pm
Oh man it works now, thank you so much, you are the best :steamthis:. This mod is essential.
sirblackaxe  [author] Jun 21 @ 11:25am
Just pushed a patch that should fix the event options displaying missing/incorrect values. Credit to Walshicus for the quick fix.
Radar Jun 21 @ 8:47am
Echo the last post. It "works" in that it displays something. But it isn't accurate in any way.
HikennoAce Jun 20 @ 2:03pm
Also it worker for me untill last patch
HikennoAce Jun 20 @ 1:50pm
@sirblackaxe I play on English it shows values for me but wrong ones, all are same as the home system and arc furnance works fine.

@Night thanks, I'll look into this over the weekend
Night Jun 20 @ 8:10am
@sirblackaxe, Russian language. I tried to play my save in the English localization - everything is the same. It does not specify the amount of energy from the dyson sphere, but Arc furnace works in any localization.

sirblackaxe  [author] Jun 20 @ 7:57am
@Hunny @Night @HikennoAce Could you tell me which languages you're playing on? That'll help debugging since this sounds like it might be a localization issue.
HikennoAce Jun 20 @ 12:32am
For me it shows home system first and same value for all other systems even tho its wrong. But it doesnt even determine the systems correctly.
Night Jun 19 @ 2:40pm
I join the comment below. It seems to determine the system correctly, by rank from best to worst, but the values are not shown.

For some reason Dyson Sphere and Nanite options stopped working for me.
POOTISMAN Jun 4 @ 4:39am
Can you upload the 3.14 version please?
sirblackaxe  [author] May 28 @ 7:18am
@HManTravis I believe everything except the habitat search will still work for 3.14. I do also still have the 3.14 version saved, but it's not uploaded to Steam yet.
HManTravis May 27 @ 5:51pm
Will this still work for 3.14? If not, is there a legacy version somewhere? Thanks
thryllth May 26 @ 12:15pm
Why someone at Paradox thought mousing over every system one after another looking for the best one was good gameplay is beyond me. Thank you.
Angelis Mortis May 19 @ 3:14am
This mod is gold. Such a simple QOL thing sometimes hits just the right spot. Must have in every playset
Mr.Hmm May 17 @ 11:42pm
Literally cant play the game without this mod.... Its way too convenient man..
Dr.Cthulhu May 15 @ 3:44am
Using the Arc Furnace and Dyson Swarm for the first time, going through each system, wondering: "Is there a mod that makes this easier?" Thank you for this.
The_Bane_Company May 12 @ 9:15pm
godly. Should be in the base game. TY and may your path always be soft and comforting and may your drinks be the right temperature always.
Putnik May 12 @ 8:42am
I absolutely love this mod
Peter34 May 11 @ 12:18pm
Nice change. Colour coding is often useful.
sirblackaxe  [author] May 11 @ 7:58am
Small update: Habitat search results now have some color coding, and fixed a bug that could cause the 2nd best habitat system to be omitted.
slevir May 11 @ 1:44am
works like a charm in 4.0, thanks!
Arkanor May 10 @ 9:19am
Could you had for branch officies too ? Because It's hard to now when you're in a federation etc
