I assume it would be fruitless of me to suggest instead of the battle royal campaign, we get something like 618?
- the Goguryeo-Sui wars
- rapid collapse of Sui and rise of Tang
- approaching the end of the Korean 3K period that's lasted like six centuries

That's the last thing I figured I'd ask. I can't speak for everyone else, but I'd imagine a new start date (especially rise of Tang) would be more desired than a battle royal. But no big deal either way, I imagine a 618 (or other) start date would be far more work than you have planned/ have time for.

I was expecting that most likely I'd have to play 8P regular for now, with the understanding that it'll get the regions treatment in a year or two. Now I'm learning won't get the treatment at all (my poor Jin Empire ;_;).

Well the silver lining is 228, finally we'll get the proper Three Kingdoms start date. :D

@Il-Khan of Persia Yes, MoH is very buggy with any sort of mods, so it's better being gutted. And Eight Princes is having a lot of it's mechanics reused in the mod

And Mandate of Heaven won't be playable with extra regions either?

@Il-Khan of Persia The next update will include working start dates with the extra regions, but some will be changing, IE Mandate of Heaven will become Chibi (207), A World Betrayed will become Three Kingdoms (228), Fates Divided will move back to 198, and Eight Princes will become the Gathering (all factions on the same map)

Can we expect this overhaul, especially the extra regions, to be added sometime in the next few months? I was thinking of starting one of the other start dates (291) sometime in the next few months and was wondering if I should go ahead and do it or if I should wait a bit if potentially we could get the extra regions added to other campaigns.
Not sure if you're still planning to add more regions to 190 first before copying it to the other campaigns, but figured I'd ask.

@Spica if you want to, an easy way to return most faction traits is by creating a mod that gives the bonuses through the faction leader's unique skill. You will need RPFM and edit character_skill_level_to_effects_junctions_tables (don't forget to change the file name from the generic "data") and find the unique skill of the general you want and add whatever effect you want.

Just play responsibly and try not to give Cao Cao 10,000 charge bonus for shits and giggles. He's already OP enough as it is

@Spica He already has three traits on him, estate boost, recruitment cost reduction, and spy slots, so one of those would have to go. And he already gets redeployment on his skill tree.

how about just consider just giving back caocao his vanilla trait lol, i always thought it was the most iconic feature of caocao is that you could starting using 0 redeployment very early if you know how to play the game, it also fits the famous saying "speaking of caocao, caocao arrives" and caocao was actually famous for his fast mobile cav in the three kingdoms

could you please make an addon so that original faction trait wouldnt be changed? such as caocao return to having -25% redeployment, just as an option for people that are familiar with vanilla faction traits. much appreciated!

@Mingles ah if you mean map expansion, no there maybe some tweaks to how regions look but as of now there are no plans for more regions.

I've waited for over a year so that any bugs can be fixed by the time I actually play this. Goodbye to my 49 mods that I've found and have been using for the past years. Now I have to see what mods are now compatible with this. Thanks Ironic and others for creating this.

Yea it isn’t available, I was given beta access to it. And for the minimap it was hand drawn from the hex map.

Hi Ironic thanks for replying! I did some research regarding CAIME(Campaign AI Map Editor), not sure if that's the thing you meant, but that CAIME seems not publicly available right now? I wonder what did you do to make that 3k_main_minimap (campaign_maps/3k_dlc07_main_map/3k_main_minimap.png). Did you still use CAIME to draw the borders of those small regions? Or is it compiled from the hexmap you edited?

@Leftmise So there is no changes to the visual map at all, instead I added more regions using CAMIE which just edits the hexmap (for the ground type, regions, etc)

Hi author thanks for your great work! Do you mind talking about how you made those campaign map modifications? I've always wondering how the original campaign map was created at first, since it looks quite close to the reality yet it's still not 100% accurate. Did you use some sort of transformation algorithm to project the real map or you just simply draw that new region by hand?

Usually a reload fixes that. I don't know where this comes from, most likely an AI parameter fucking up but I have no idea.

Around mid-game, during AIs' turns passing, it gets stuck during AI Liu Bei's turn. It has happened twice when i was playing Ma Teng and now Kong Rong Are there anyway i can proceed?

They are pretty low priority. I believe Gogukcheon is playable ? And maybe some of the Korean submods for 190E actually allow you to play the others.

Their time will come, for now they're really not quite there yet. (No proper victory condition, no proper tech tree, etc...) and what's there I'm pretty sure can be improved (looking at the poor job I did on the Korean units because I didn't want to go full 6th century korean armies and couldn't really find english documentation on how they fought so I had to... take creative liberties and essentially assume they were still in the bronze age)

HI all, I am having a bit of an issue, for some reason whenever i choose to start a new game with any Korean faction it just closes my game, I only have the mods listed in the Load order pic and in the same order however it just CTDs. Any ideass?

@Ironic oh i'm aware, it's like i said (at least for me) its for vanilla roster players that just want a bigger map to play with, does not have to make sense that korea has the same unit roster. I could maybe even make a reskin submod that makes them look korean for that region.

But anyway i understand if you see that as a waste of time and would rather someone else to do it since its a niche request. Maybe ill learn how to do it myself or hopefully someone who knows does it eventually. Thanks for your time man and gl with the mod :)
