For sure; I really hope so too! :D

I foresee a lot of exciting things in the future if that ends up going forward.

A few suggestions on getting models:
-I used to search for models on sites like open3dlabs, sfmlabs*, models-resource, Pack 3d Models and even Deviantart*

-Ninja-Ripper/Ninja Ripper 2 were my go-to for extracting models directly from the game (although non-posable)

-I happen to have some experience making DBD minis. I found out the most practical way to get those models was through Garry's Mod, surprisingly enough. There are mods on that workshop containing NPC/Player Model versions of DBD characters, which you can download and extract with the Crowbar.exe program and then import into Blender with a GMA plugin (there are tutorials on youtube explaining the process better), and then use the animation files to pose them.

*In GMA and XPS format, respectively, which need their own plugins to work on Blender.

Great suggestion. I'd also like to add characters from similar games like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Evil Dead game, Killer Klownz From Outerspace, Dead by Daylight like you suggested, The Friday The 13th game etc etc.
Again this is just a pipe dream at the moment; i have no means or knowledge to procure those models but you never know! I'll certainly give researching it a shot! :P

I'd love to see your Dead by Daylight board game sometime! Sounds interesting & i'm extremely glad you were able to get some use out of the models (:

Cheers!

For me, my number one game request is always going to be Dead by Daylight, but that's a Unreal Engine 4/5 game so I'm sure that's gonna be a fair bit easier than obscure ps2 games. In fact, the reason I was requesting all these REO models is so I can implement them into a Dead by Daylight board game I'm working on as part of a Resident Evil expansion ^^' I super appreciate all the work you've been doing and it's been making things so much cooler to have actual models as well.
Makusugi  [author] Jun 30, 2024 @ 1:16am
Short answer though is: Yes; I will continue to work on more projects in the future as long as im able & capable. :)

Cheers.
Makusugi  [author] Jun 30, 2024 @ 1:14am
If im able to rip the models sure; though the method I currently use may not be compatible with every, or any other PS2 titles. I have had success in the background/past ripping things for personal use; such as Dark Cloud 1 & 2 models. So possibly; but with my current knowledge of how I do things I can't guarantee anything specific at the moment. I'm always willing to put in the time & learn more though.

Thank you & everyone else for sticking along for this ride with me & i'm really glad you all are enjoying the models!!!
The Archivist Jun 30, 2024 @ 1:02am
Hey, RE:O is a beloved, but often mistreated and forgotten franchise. Of course you're going to get a lot of appreciation for showing it love.

Do you have any plans to go back and upload models from other ps2 era games when this project is done?
Makusugi  [author] Jun 29, 2024 @ 11:16pm
Wow!!!!
Thank you so much everyone for all of the awards; i'm flattered & really appreciate it! 😄
Makusugi  [author] Jun 22, 2024 @ 10:48pm
Sorry for the delay in updates regarding new character poses & enemies; looking into some issues im having after rotating or posing certain characters/enemies. They are left with a massive invisible "hitbox" around them; so instead of uploading some "subpar/broken" items; i'll wait and hopefully identify the problem. I am only one person & learning Blender & Unity both; so though i've made a lot of progress & have had a lot of success the way i've been doing things; I have hit some roadblocks. Mostly due to me not being experienced enough.

I have had the G-Mutant done for a while & have wanted to upload him but he has the issue of the massive invisible square hitbox around him which makes using him in a tabletop scenario not practical.

Thanks for sticking with me thus far & thank for as always for all the support! I will continue looking into the issues; and perhaps find other things to add in the meantime. Suggestions are always welcome too!

Cheers!

My pleasure!

& Thank you again everyone for the support & awards! 😁
The Archivist Jun 18, 2024 @ 1:29pm
The fucking mad lad did it in 3 days. I think I have no choice but to subscribe to you.
Makusugi  [author] Jun 17, 2024 @ 10:39pm
That should be all of the unique scenario "quest" items! Please let me know if you spot anything missing! There are still more weapons & common items to add but I wanted to get the scenario based ones in first as @The Archivist had suggested. This should allow more freedom to build your scenario's!

&& as always hope you all enjoy! :D
Cheers!
Makusugi  [author] Jun 15, 2024 @ 6:23pm
@The Archivist You got it!

Thanks for the suggestions I really appreciate it. May take some time but most of if not all of those mentioned items I think I can do! As long as they are in the files then we should be good to go!

The characters i'm going to have to put on hold still for the time being until I resolve the issues i've been having with them; but I will still make note of the ones you mentioned as i'd love to get back to doing those, & there are some great choices you mentioned there! (Especially Bob! & there are a bunch of enemies i'd love to do too)

I've uploaded some of the mentioned items just now from Below Freezing Point; I will continue to add the rest in the coming days so stay tuned!

Also; George in his scrubs is included already, but i'm guessing you meant a version without a weapon? If so yes eventually that will come but may be a bit far off from other things I would like to work on/add.

Cheers & anyone feel free to always leave suggestions!

:D
The Archivist Jun 15, 2024 @ 12:19pm
This is a long list. I'm sorry. I don't expect all of these, of course. Just thought you'd like a couple ideas! With the items, a lot of them are quest items so you can theoretically recreate the conditions in various scenarios with them.
The Archivist Jun 15, 2024 @ 12:19pm
I'm working on my own tabletop game that includes a lot of Resident Evil stuff, so I do appreciate it. This stuff really helps me give my game more of a physical presence.

If you are looking for items out of interest, I could make a list. You don't need to do anything more, really, but some cool items to consider might be...

Daylight Vial
Chemical Bottle (Solvent)
Empty Chemical Bottle
Green Zombie (Botanic Zombie)
Grey Chemical Bottle
Yellow Chemical Bottle
Axe
Butcher Knife
Blank Tape
Lab Card Key
ID Card Lv 1
V-Poison
T-Blood
P-Base
Syringe (empty)
Syringe (Solvent)
UMB No.3
V-JOLT
VP-017
Blood Pack
Hunk (with Submachine Gun)
Hunk (with Survival Knife)
Bob (Danger)
Bob (Fine)
Bob (with handgun?)
Random zombies
Scientist zombies
Officer Raymond (with no weapon)
Officer Raymond (with shotgun)
George-C (hospital scrubs)

Generic Survivors

@The Archivist No problem at all; you're very welcome! (:

If you have any other particular items from either of the Outbreak games you are specifically looking for let me know! I will try to prioritize those first over others, while still look into the issues im having with certain enemies & character models lately.

Cheers & thanks again for the support as always! :D
The Archivist Jun 15, 2024 @ 5:55am
You're a legend for responding so quickly and adding the requested mixes! Thank you! <3
Makusugi  [author] Jun 14, 2024 @ 2:46pm
I've been having some issues recently exporting some of the character/enemy models but I should be back up and running soon hopefully. The no weapon versions may be a bit far off but they are definitely on the list of things to add! :)

In the meantime I will try to add some more items along with the requested ones.

Cheers & thanks for the support everyone!
&& thanks for bearing with me while I learn the ins & outs of how these programs work! :D
The Archivist Jun 13, 2024 @ 2:34am
If I might request weaponless models for the characters and item models for various mixes? (red/blue/green/yellow/etc herbs)
iKilledMyWaifu Jun 7, 2024 @ 2:09pm
awesome work cant wait to see the updates!!!
Makusugi  [author] May 17, 2024 @ 6:26pm
@Mordokh My pleasure! Glad you are enjoying them! :D

@xxindy09xx

Thanks for the heads up! Please let me know if this is the one you were looking for!

Glad you all are enjoying them, thanks for the support!
Until next time!
Cheers!

I'm so excited to see more updates dude, I hope you don't forget Yoko Z outfit either. Also thank you for all your hard work!!!
Mordokh May 17, 2024 @ 1:56pm
Great thanks for making the baseless models.
Makusugi  [author] May 14, 2024 @ 10:51pm
Hope you all enjoy the No Base versions of the characters! Please let me know if you encounter any issues.

Suggestions are also welcome; though I am only one person & still learning so I can't guarantee everything!

Cheers! :D
Makusugi  [author] May 13, 2024 @ 3:21pm
CONTINUED: Most of the work comes from figuring out the in's and out's of both of these new programs to me (Blender & Unity). Not being able to rip animations also makes posing each character very time consuming & difficult to make right or look "authentic". Items for example require no posing & are much faster to add into the game.

Next plans are definitely to add more Poses for each character. (Idle, Caution, Danger, Crawling, Zombified, Leech Man, Melee pose, etc are some of my ideas for example.) & once those poses are done I had planned on making "State" versions of each character where you would hover your cursor over them, press numbers 1-6 on your keyboard for example, and have the figure swap between all of its unique poses.
I also plan on more items, & enemies in the meantime as filler while I plan the poses & continue learning more!

Thanks again!
& hope you enioy! 😄

@DNXyken Thank you again for your support, I really appreciate it! :D

Initially I wanted to release these with no bases FIRST & then add the base versions later like most of you are suggesting. Since I am still new to Blender & Unity, I was having issues generating colliders for most of them without the bases. Not all, but most were falling through the table even if i applied rigid bodies in Blender, and even if I generated new colliders in Unity. Since the bases seemed to solve this issue for me for the time being, I decided to go that route for now. But this is mostly a problem of me not being experienced enough yet sadly.

With my initial testing of a no base figure before I went the base route: If I manually attached a base to it in-game, saved the game or object, and reloaded the instance, the object would lose all of its textures and be left white.
DNXyken May 13, 2024 @ 12:33pm
I could agree with @Mordokh in regards to versions without bases, as I like to make my own custom transparent bases for figures for use in D&D and Fallout, and is otherwise not too difficult to bind figures to your own bases. So that's a decent recommendation that going forward, you can skip doing that yourself, saving you a little time and effort, and giving the option for people to bind them to bases if they want to or not.
Also, it would be nice if human figures had an Idle pose version as well for versatility and gameplay immersion.
Regardless, really appreciating your continued updates of these figures, and I support you whether you implement my suggestions or not, and can't wait for more!
I really need to learn how to rip game models myself one of these days.
Makusugi  [author] May 11, 2024 @ 9:30am
@Matthias_229 Agreed about these games being left behind by Capcom!! :(

I would also love it if someone made proper character cards for them! I probably could at some point in the future but it would be a bit far off; as I still have a ton of models to add & tweaks to make first & my knowledge regarding the RE boardgames would more than likely prevent me from making "balanced" cards. We'll see! I'll definitely add it to my notes!

@Modokh Thank you! :D I definitely plan on adding no base versions of the models, but as stated above it might be a bit far off as I have a bunch of things i'd like to prioritize first like adding more items & models & poses for each character etc. I will add it to my notes of things to look into!

Thanks again everyone for all of the support! I really appreciate it! Cheers! :)
Mordokh May 11, 2024 @ 4:57am
Great models, would be great if you could make versions of them without a base since then they could be better used in tabletop RPG's.
Matthias_129 May 8, 2024 @ 8:44pm
Yo, Outbreak love, I can get behind that! Criminal that these games in the series have been left behind by Capcom. I would also love to see someone make some character cards for the Outbreak characters for the RE board games
Makusugi  [author] May 6, 2024 @ 10:51pm
Thank you everyone I really appreciate it! :D

I definitely plan on adding more models over time!

Possibly the unique enemies from both File 1 & 2, NPC's, Items, Caution/Danger/Zombified poses of the characters, Alternate outfits, etc etc. We shall see what time & my skill (or lack of) allows haha!

The items are very easy to add so expect more of those, as they don't require me to manually pose them like I need to do for the characters.

Thanks again everyone & really glad to see people enjoying the models.

Cheers! :)
Dango Balango May 6, 2024 @ 2:20pm
Nice job, hope to see more from you!!
DNXyken May 6, 2024 @ 11:22am
Thanks for making this, always happy to get more models to work with! Looking forward to seeing more!

Those look great, well done!
