I am happy you like the map! sadly tho adding AI nodes and a navmesh is not a priority right now as (at the time of this comment) I am working on other maps, but don't worry I can do it after my next map comes out which might be about a month from now

Took a while to find all the sprites, the blue ones were straightforward save for the last 2-3,
Pink ones were sneaky.
Getting the crystals from both and getting the "cutscene" was pretty amusing.

not spoiling the secret but if you got all of them you would have seen a cutscene showing you what happens next, if u didnt see that then u probably didnt get them all

I investigated this world of your first like a dreamer who became lucid, than like a detective when I couldnt find the last blue and pink sprite, than I became mad. Soon every light on a tree became a sprite that I could never reach, could never touch. The final pink sprite lay behind a wall of endless torment that only appeared in my wildest nightmares. Eventually I regained my wits and simply sat in the forest for awhile, relaxing and enjoying the peace and serenity it brought. Than the noises of faint footsteps in the distance and rocks crumbling brought me back into a darkened state of mind, every sound was like a lead to a nonexistent end. I wondered aimlessly, relentlessly, anytime I heard a noise I thought with absolute certainty that it was going to lead me to the final sprites.

I lost and regained my mind countless times, every star in the sky became a sprite out of my reach... Yet screamed and jumped and reached out to the stars anyways. The portals laid around the grounds became a string of endless loops. I would pass through the portals endlessly in a loop of hopeful insanity that I might've just been barely missing the final blue sprite on the other side.

I dont even remember where I finally found it. One moment I had blinked and the final Blue portal had been opened. I regained my mind. Countless eternities might have passed in the time I lost my mind. It didnt matter now, I was one final Pink sprite away from this world. To finding the end, the mystery behind it all. I at last looked up towards the stars and the planets with hope and a new dream within this dream world of what I might uncover. oh how the blue and pink world in the sky seemed so beautiful at that moment when I made my walk around the grounds once more in search of the final pink sprite. How could I have known that it was behind the **** the whole time?. one quick push and step away from me.. inside the damnable pyramid.

The dream, turned nightmare, turned eternity, turned to madness once again. I couldn't find that F***ING SPRITE. HALF A PLANET IN THE SKY WAS PINK, A PROMISE THAT ONE DAY I WOULD UNITE THE BLUE AND PINK SPRITES TO FORM A GLORIOUS END TO THIS TALE.

Can't find the pink crystal

I had a really good time exploring the map, love the atmosphere! Nice work!

Oh my god, I thought it'd just take the crystal elevator back up so I never pressed it...

There is a button in the underground area with the orange lights, once u press it the button for the 2nd floor elevator will unlock. The 2nd floor elevator goes up and down automatically.

What's the solution to activating the elevator to the top of the pyramid? It's the only one I can't figure out

For the skybox issue, do a binary search.

Small map update!
The pyramids should no longer fall under the map after going through a portal, however it now appears like you get dropped from the air. (This is the only way I know how to fix the pyramids)
As for the black flickering skybox, I believe it is a symptom of my game, as I experience it on other gmod maps I play. At the time of this comment I do not know how to fix this.

in the blue sprite room, the sky is really weird and will flicker black, and when i took the blue pyramid through the portal it disappeared

I have a wear missing textures error where there's apparently a waterfall effect missing and causing weird effects.

No, I've never played a dark souls game

Was this inspired by Dark Souls 2 by any chance? It's a beautiful map that reminds me of a lot of the areas in that game.

Spent an hour collecting the blue orbs. As soon as we got through the last portal with the blue pyramid, it disappeared and we couldn't get it back. We didn't get to see what was behind the door...

@kilosaur2011 This map has NO AI nodes or a navmesh because the level design and intended purpose of the map was not made for NPCs. You are welcome to create your own AI nodes or navmesh if you want.
