like 2 brutes 3 jackals 1 grunt 2 elites 4 bugs. Then the room immediately after is 1 brute 4 grunts 1 elite 2 jackals and like just S P A M!
it goes from random groups to just 20 enemies spawning behind a box.
I played heroic first play through then legendary after. And while I understand you made the mod with Normal in mind please make the enemy placements more uniform like how the vanilla game does it. 4-7 grunts 2-4 jackals 1-3 elites/1-5 brutes. So it feels like I'm fighting an army and not a forge remake of the campaign but backwards.
I love this mod and had so much fun playing it through on legendary. It's slow paced and incredibly difficult. My only gripes is the enemies not being squads and just massive groups of random stuff. And them spawning right in front of you.
It's definitely refreshing, don't get me wrong base reach is really good, but a custom campaign as a marine? Plus a fight with Innies? Plus Easter eggs?
This could be it's own game at this rate, but I'm content with it being a mod.
P.S. I heard there's a secret Ending for Level 13, but I've yet to find it. I NEED A HINT, ANYTHING
Needs a few flashing way points for dumb players like me that forget where to go.
@Muffin CoD 2 is one of my personal favorite games. I couldn't resist including some of my favorite bits of dialogue.
the 'welcome surprise' from our benefactor Durandal was an amazing thing that I'm glad I found, and sets the tone beautifully that one should check each and every nook, just in case.
[On that note, what music track is it when you meet with your surprise friends? :)]
All told, I've had a wonderful time, and I cant wait to find everything I missed in a first run.
@Azra Glad you enjoyed it. And yes, Seva is the bestest
We welcome mod makers who wish to test WIP mods and people from all time-zones
This might just have been a random glitch, but if I was designing this myself, I'd probably have the dropship arrive after a fixed period of time, regardless of how many Covenant there are. It does kind of fit the setting.
Aside from that, I've been having a blast playing this!
As a marine you change the way the game is played, you cant jump high, your health is low and you play in third person, i have really enjoyed the new mission layouts and animations.
i only encountered a crash on the begining but was explained on the instructions, use default armors (ooriginal xbox 3360 ones) and fov on 80

There is also Barth's general tutorial for installing MCC mods

1) Make sure you have Halo Reach installed alongside the MCC
2) Hit the "subscribe" button on the steam workshop page
3) Wait for the mod to download (depending on your internet this may take a while)
3.1) Be sure to read the "Setup Notice" section while you wait. Not all mods have these, but this one does.
4) Once the mod has fully installed, launch the MCC with Anti-Cheat disabled
5) Go to the Halo Reach section in the Campaign tab. If everything has been done correctly, you should start to see a list of mods appear alongside the main Reach Campaign
6) Select the mod you want to play
7) Select the mission you want to play, then start the game
7.1) If you get stuck at a infinite loading screen, or your game crashes, make sure you read the "Setup Notice"
7.2) If everything was followed correctly and it still didn't work, try unsubscribing and then re-downloading the mod
