I understand how it works on Zeus, which I've used, not this one but others of your compositions. How do you use this in Eden? Place the composition then copy and paste the init onto the helicopter or boat?

I'm seeing the Huron work fine, the Taru floats but breaks the engine, and the Mohawk simply won't float at all. Blackfish and Xi'an both float, but suffer catastrophic damage.

Do you need to put the Simple Floatary composition in a certain area or just in the map editor?
Also, where is it you change the composition script level?

@Vengen, nope. There's a command called setWaterLeakiness you could use. It just got added to the game. This script uses it.

@Raccoon, it only makes modded helicopters float. It doesn't add the boat loading. At the top of the script there's a variable called "FLRYAllWatercraftCarrierClassNames" and "FLRYAllAircraftOffsets". You can add your modded vehicle classes to both and it should work.
You can find the script inside the init field of the composition.

The description says this works with modded vehicles, but I'm testing it and it doesn't seem to. Is there any way I could make a compat?

@Chiconius, I faked it by placing the AI in the pilot seat after I put the chopper in the water. Then I forced the engine on using a script.

Good morning,

instead of having the "SIMPLE FLOATERY" script where we see the helicopter break down once it hits the water, trying to insert a boat.

Wouldn't it be better to mix with the mod (Rotary Floatary) with the script above.

Like this, the helicopter remains on hold, floating waiting for the boat

Bonjour,

au lieu d'avoir le script "SIMPLE FLOATERY" où on voit l'hélicoptère se mettre en panne une fois avoir touché l'eau, en voulant insérer une embarcation.

Serait il pas mieux de mélanger avec le mod (Rotary Floatary) avec le script ci dessus.

Comme cela , l'hélico reste en attente en flottant en attente du bateau

how did you manage to do it with the AI? let's say, I want in a mission for a extraction chopper to land on the water and wait till the player gets in to extract, what's the command on the waypoint so that the heli stays on the water, like you did there?
