@TheNowGamer event text in purple like that is purely localization-related. The event works fine and applies the ideology correctly to the PB.

Found an error in event usfp_manifest_destiny.7, says missing perspecitve, third past tense? it fails to change the ideology to empire of liberty.

Very insignificant thing, Tsimshian in B.C. I believe have the same tag as the Torrie Strait Islanders in the A&NZ Flavor Pack. All this does is replace one of their names with the other depending on the load order

In late 1836 I was able to marginalize the Intelligentsia but they unmarginalized soon later and tried to join the Democrats post-election instead of the Republicans

i was thinking of starting a campaign with a buddy where we release as many US states as possible as puppets of the federal US gov and we each play a state (likely TX & CA), would this be a good mod to use for that? We are some of the unlucky few where multiplayer campaigns only work with 1-2 mods so we have to be very strict with the mods being used.

Hello CaelReader! I really like this mod, its really flavourful! However i have a question regarding content:

Is there no content for the CSA? Whenever the pro-slavery movement triggers (around 1855-58 ish for me) the CSA secedes from the union and i like playing as them, but whenever the civil war ends in a CSA victory, all it does as player CSA is give a small buff "King Cotton" and thats it. No other content, no journal entries. Is this intended?

the latest hotfix included a change to how many IGs can join parties- it says "rarely more than 3, never more than 4" just a heads up as i know this mod has unique party code

I would absolutely love to see this mod with an earlier start date option. 1789, with Washington as President. The US was more United than ever in terms of parties. And a 1797 start date with Adams as President. With the threat from the new French Republic, and more divided political parties.

The California statehood event and 1850 Compromise event both fail to turn California into a Yankee homeland like they are supposed to. The tooltip says they will, but Yankee is never actually added as a homeland. This makes purchasing Alaska impossible until California is fully colonized and naturally gains Yankee homeland status. Or until Russia asks to sell Alaska first.

@Mycelia I have no plans to make a BPM compatch. Simply removing ACW content will not be enough, any part of HC that interacts with IGs/Parties/Characters would need to be reworked to account for BPM's changes.

@Defenestration Hrm yea you're right, probably having an Abolitionist president should just break the compromise innately. There is a special law enactment event for slavery banned while you have the compromise but maybe its not impactful enough.

Compromise of 1850 only happens after CA asks for statehood.

I think there are a few bugs regarding the Missouri Compromise:

1. I received the imminent secession event when an abolitionist was elected despite the Missouri Compromise being active, which prevented the secession due to -50% activism from the Missouri Compromise

2. Attempting to enact slavery banned also did not remove the Missouri Compromise, which made banning slavery trivial

3. I never received an event for the Compromise of 1850 despite taking CA and rejecting the Wilmot Proviso

I love this mod but i do not like the american protectionist law. You get like 3k if your good since you get 0 from export. In my opinion it should be like 20% on max 15% on medium and 5% on low that would represent the us tariffs more since it was the main incom for the federal goverment

There seems to be a bug in the mod, where it breaks the path logic of exiled troops for AI, and armies just remain exiled in foreign territory, slowly dying from attrition. I only have two mods enabled: Framework and Hail Columbia. When I disable Hail Columbia in the same save, exiles work as intended again.Image: https://imgur.com/a/SYH0Cvc

I am also getting a crash the same date despite reloads. Error log shows the following event maybe triggering it:

Error: create_pop effect [ create_pop effect should never be used after the game has initialized! ]

@CaelReader Unsubbed, deleted any residuals, resubscribed and moved down in the load order. No crash on startup. Thanks for the assist. Can't play US without it.
