just looked through the improved artifacts collection, and i must say, you did an excellent job making them better and satisfying, but also balanced too.

Hey Zim, I love your mods and was wondering if youd ever make one for dragonbane, as the sword is kinda boring as is. If you were ever to look into it id also love Bolar's Oathblade getting some work too.

The mod used to be great, but since a few days ago it deactivated the enchantment on Bloodskal entirely and I had to delete all modfiles about it to fix it (Which wasn't as easy as it sounds, selectively emptying cache folders is a ridiculous effort)

Great, looking forward to coming home so I can try this, I was looking to make a Bloodskal Blade-based character build.
Hey, I have a question, I was thinking of making a custom perk meant to suit this playstyle. The idea I have is that the perk effect will be such that when I kill an opponent with whatever the bloodskal blade ranged energy blast counts as, WHILST I'm wielding a greatsword, I'll get a some temporary bonuses. Thus, it will insentience me to create this interesting play style where I blast enemies form afar with the sword. However, what exaclty should the conidition for this be? Does the energy blast of the sword count as spells? If I set it so that I get a bonus for killing foes with my spells, WHILST I'm also wielding a greatsword(thus meaning that killing enemies with normal spells won't have this effect, since the greatsword condition won't be met), would that have the intended effect when using the Bloodskal Blade?

Do you think you could you could create a mod for the Spellbreaker that lets you change the Ward points just like this Bloodskal Blade mod?

Apoligizes to the previous message but i just found a means to actually fire the projectile. I had to drop the blade, have a follower pick up the blade and take it directly form their inventory and that method worked. Not entirely sure why but maybe when another character model/npc picks the blade it preforms the proper resetting of the blades enchantment.

I have checked and proceeded to to reset & replace the bloodskal blade with no means to cause the projectile energy to trigger. Interesting enough the intial bonus enchantment damage prots effciently the secondary has yet to work properly.

Can I remove the enchantment from the blade and put it on other weapons unlike the original bloodskal sword? My apologies if I am asking this in the wrong place.

I cant adjust the magical damage of the blade the game always says the commando "BloodskalEnchDamage" is not valid. would you please fix that?

that is a easy fix silly download the gift of talos weamonand armor mod then make a full set of armor with the ring of talos enchant on it and then use a grind stone and truely make a legindary weapon ring of talos enchant allows you to smith and enchant things 1000% better so if you have like the fedish mods you can get a set of gear that lets you smith a iron dager to get it up to 100k damage

Would you consider bumping up it's base dmg to 23 or so? 23 is the same as the Stahlrim greatsword. It'd also be epic it benifited from more smithing perks so it doesn't get obsoleted.

Huzzah! The weapon plaque fixes it. though, that presents another problem, but one that should be able to be handled via console

As a "edit", since that's not an actual option, the Unofficial Patch does something to the blade; is that possibly the problem?

Hey, I just downloaded the "complete collection" version, and after I unequip the blade, it stops working. Neither resetting, replacing, nor adding a new one via the console works. Dropping the weapon and picking it up doesn't do anything, either. I have no other mods that affect the blade.

The ward is activating for all items when I block, while the energy blast is activating on ALL greatswords... Whats going on?

I just disenchanted the boots, helmet and gauntlets (had the option to discenchant the cuirass too but didn't want to at the time)... should I have been able to do so? The enchantments don't seem to want to apply to other helmets, gauntlets and boots with the Arcance Enchanter.

Problem fixed!

I can confirm that putting the Bloodskal Blade on a weapon plaque and taking it back (even without exiting the cell) will fix the problem.

I used the Markarth house :markarth:

Note: This could still be a problem for those who want to finish the quest without cheating

Sorry for the long comment but I thought it was better to be thorough.
If you find a fix then I'd really appreciate it because I loved the idea of the Bloodskal Blade but it wasn't really cutting it in the game and I know how good your mods are. :whiterun:

I have tried both the reset options in the MCM menu but they don't change anything.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mod (at that point I was using Nexus), then when that didn't work I tried switching from Nexus to Steam but the problem was still exactly the same.

I deleted the mod entirely and reinstalled again but nothing changed.

I haven't tried the display case fix (the comment below) and I can't because I don't have a house in this save.

Hey Zim, I'm a huge fan of your mods and I use almost all of them. I took a long break from Skyrim but now I'm back and I tried to use this mod but like so many others it does not work for me.

The only problem seems to be the energy blasts, the other damage enchantment seems to be working fine and the ward goes up when I block, but whatever I do the blade won't shoot energy blasts when I use power attacks.

The Energy blast wasnt firing for me so i reset it in the menu, put it in a display case and left the room. When i came back in and tried it it worked perfectly

P.S. Zim all of your mods run amazingly and make me feel that all of the items are much more balanced

Like a lot of people in the comment section,the energy blast dont fire at all and dropping the weapon,reseting/replacing the blade dont fix this bug.Also the ward dont activate when blocking even if the option is activated in the MCM.

Actually Fray, Zim, the Armor-Duplicating Mannequin glitch is extremely common. It happens on every platform randomly. And no... There appears to be no known fix. It just kinda... Goes away as randomly as it appears.
Not that I complain. It's raining Daedric armor in my house. XD

OH MAN. it would seem that the problem is not the mannequins but the armor itself. Wherever i put it, it duplicates itself and displaces itself, so that even the Bonemold armor i placed duplicated too

The problem mannequins are the one on the left facing away from the bed, and the one opposite it, on the left - also facing away from the bed. In Severin Manor

And apparently, its these two mannequin problems. When i swapped it with another manequin i hadn't swapped with before, it was fine - no duplicates

I also tried swapping out the sets mannequins and it seems to lie in the helmet - which was always the one missing. The Deathbrand mannequin has spawned a duplicate Bloodskaal helmet now... XD

So i tried to remove the duplicat set and place it on the mannequin with the full set and go out and come back....

Another set spawned... Now i have 4 sets....

I come back again and i find that the mannequin holding the Deathbrand set has spawned a new Bloodskaal armor set - excluding the armor. But the originals are still on the seperate mannequin. Apparently it has duplicated the bottom half of the armor. I remove it and put it in a chest. I go out to quest and come back, and I find that the Deathbrand mannequin has spawned ANOTHER set, excluding the helmet. And the duplicate set is still in the chest after i had removed it the first time

Not that this is bad but... What exactly is the problem?

INFINITE DUPLICATES

Not sure if you know this, but its really funny. At first it was bad, i put the Bloodskaal set on mannequin in Severin manor, together with the Deathbrand set on the same mannequin. WHen i came back, the Bloodskaal helmet was gone. I reloaded a last save and did everything i did in three hours again, this time, put the entire Bloodskaal set and Deathbrand set on seperate mannequins. And the helmet doesn't disappear, all is good

Logic + TF2 + {λ³} = HL3...honestly mate, it's been a while since I was making these mods, i can't remember what's what, but the most up to date stuff is gonna be on the nexus
