Can we only bring followers to the house as cattle? Is that an actual feature, or is the downstairs more for "show" than function?

I tried to adopt blaise and lucia but it dosent give me the option to have them go to the manor, do I have to own a actual skyrim house first or is this just a glitch?

ok i love the house yet there is no cattle nor can i move my family in because i dont have the bless home spell can you plaease help?

With Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions installed, the "Bless Home" spell should appear among the Restoration Spells.

@charliehardwood You have to use the Bless Home spell inside Dark-Blood Manor first, or else they won't recognize it as a valid house.

It's just inside Whiterun, behind Ysolda's House.

@Jonocat25 You can use the mod Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions to adopt more children, six in total.
This mod for example is necessary if you want your children to live in Dark-Blood Manor or else they won't recognize the house.
