Currently no, but I could add this feature in the next update
Eddie_the_rawke Apr 30, 2024 @ 11:40am
if you release the tatars, can you annex them at a later date or no?
azguzine  [author] Mar 30, 2024 @ 1:46pm
If you chose to change the names to Ruthenian ones you should have the decision to change them back.
John Horseman Mar 27, 2024 @ 2:45pm
how do i change my name to Rus ? i have formed the last reform but my name is still Kyiv
azguzine  [author] Mar 24, 2024 @ 1:48pm
A similar type of estate existed way back in the times of Kievan Rus, it just wasn't called like that, but I chose that name because it later represented the same thing (you get these estates when it's already 1500s - at the same time when Ivan IV established Oprichnina and Zemshina in our timeline). I hope you got my point.
mutb_ Mar 24, 2024 @ 12:47pm
What kind of a Zemshina and Oprichnina?? They did not exist in Rus, it originated in the Moscovia

I would love a corresponding mod like this for the Balkans and Anatolia, if that is not too much to ask.

No problem. It was a major part of my bachelor's thesis, so I am deeply invested, to say the very least.
azguzine  [author] Mar 20, 2024 @ 10:35am
I'm glad someone pointed this out, cause I wasn't sure how to make an adjective for "Rus", thanks for writing that.
Mysza Halamow Mar 20, 2024 @ 8:11am
Just a note: Rus is Rusian, not Russian. Russia is Russian. The so-called Russian region is either the Rus region or Rusian region, and according to chronicles written at the time does not include Russia, but rather just the lands in modern Ukraine and Belarus. It's just so weird that the wealth of information and resources about Rus and Kyiv (spelled in Latin script as Kyjevъ, from Києвъ in Old Rusian), and you still go with the default Muscovite-Russian spellings and historiography.

Vladimir-Suzdal could be a nation but I'll probably add it like a releasable or it will spawn by an event, because if I add it to the start date it would only have 2 provinces and Muscovy would be very small (it needs to be at least as big as it is so that the Rus Schism disaster is balanced).
Jiroun Mar 20, 2024 @ 1:17am
What about Vladimir-Suzdal?

Very good working and love comes from porcelain。
It's almost a mod in my dreams。
I will be concerned about the progress of this project.

Gave it a run and it was overall a nice campaign, the AI generated mission text got a bit repitive at times, but aside from that everything was just fine.

My only suggestion is to add a pan-slavicism decision or mission so you can bring the Western and Southern Slavs into the fold. Just didn't have enough acceptance slots to accept all of them the normal way and didn't want to just turn them all into Ruthenians. Even something like a Yugoslav and Zapodoslav culture within the Eastern Slav group would have been fine.

Either way, great job on this mission tree!

The timeline where this mod is, does not see the Great Horde being the overlord of Muscovy. The overlord of Muscovy is Kiev, which can demand tribute from them with Muscovy being very disloyal, similarly how they were historically in the relation with the Great Horde. Great Horde in this mod is depicted as a crumbling nation that doesn't have much influence over the Rus lands. It certainly has some flavor which is supposed to topple them to the ground (example: Astrakhan revolt), unless you manage to keep it nation together.

A mod making Muscovy less blobby is always appreciated. But does this mod also come with additional flavor for the Great Horde to subjugate Muscovy as their "tax collector" as was historically the case? Basically, Great Horde having Muscovy as their Tributary State, and Muscovy having a sort of Shogun-style relationship with all the surrounding Russian principalities?
