I continued the previous game and got the trait spam again for the same leader, but it might be different for a new game, I will start one and and update. Thank you for the support

@Il-Khan: you are quite fast, there is a general blocker for this now, so I'm quite wondering about your experience. But I can add a blocker direct in the traits too.
The disappearance of the menu is intended after some time after midgame.

Btw, sadly the cultist trait spam still seems to happen, one of my leaders is the chosen of the Whisperers and still got spammed with traits for all the other shroud entities

Thank you for the update, for some reason during a running game, around year 2300, the mod menu disappeared from the policies and & Edicts tab. the mod is still running and I have the shroud traits and civic active, but this minue disappeared and the rifts do not appear. Do you have any idea ? Also I have knights of a toxic god demonic incursion installed and its menu also disappeared at the same time (perhaps after the mods updated on steam few days ago). Thank you

Do you think could add a Council Position to the Shroud Civic? I imagine that this original mod came out a little before Council Positions from Civics were a thing, otherwise one would be in the original mod

Also received the issue in which a leader repeatedly gets all 4 cultist traits. And it seems like the game is trying to re-add the same cultist traits every few years (although this doesn't change anything since it just replaces the old identical one), not sure if that's somehow related.

Is the shroud rifts just not kicking off for anyone else?

Hey, I got a leader with 4 cultist traits, for each of the shroud gods, it is - 20 stability...
is that supposed to happen?
Also, I have shroud worshiper civic and a convenant with the whisperer and still have the traits, isnt it a abit strange concept wise? I would have that that least if your a shroud worshiper or if you have a covenant with a shroud entity you will not have cultists and cultist leaders pop up like mushrooms in the rain

I also have been having the early spawning issue at about the same time. Started a new game, it happened again. Also, this patch is terrific.

Good evening! I'm having an issue aswell where the rifts spawn in early game. They spawned in 2202.04 for me. BTW really really appreciate all the hard work you put into modding and updating this one. You modders make gaming worth while ^^

I think it may be due to this.
The Line 178 in 99_utopia_shroud_events_fix.txt:
country_event = { id = utopia.3200 }
The random list below will trigger another Shroud event.
As a result, there are two events.

@会读会写的完满的猫: should normally not be possible due this mod: as everything is the same in the event like in vanilla except of the options. But I can add an double event blocker anyway.
I found a bug. The vanillia Shroud events will be triggered two times if a psionic empire reaches into the Shroud in event utopia.3000.

Okay I figured out something in case it may help someone. While fiddling with the whole thing trying to find some combo that works I found that if you disable the patch, load the game with the original mod still on, and then click the nameplate after you select to build the Goliath, it went through and the event would proceed.

It may work well enough to get the megastructure on the tab, and then enable the patch again since some odd mod windows popped up when I was testing the using instant build to finish it and see what would work. The event seemed to conclude fine, odd difficulty windows popping up aside.

I personally found that if you use the console command "own" on the FE planet, you can then build an outpost!

Additionally, it did let me build a research station around the Zro deposit from the Galaxy map > Build Research Stations prompt so idk what the funky ownership thing might be.

I'm having the issue with trying to put the Goliath Inhibitor under a Fallen Empire based Eye of Terror as well. I did notice something that could potential be a work around?

I tried to right click the Eye of Terror nametag with a construction ship and then the Build Megastructure submenu. When hovering over the Eye of Terror, despite owning the system itself, it says that I don't own the system,star, object. But interestingly, I could build a Grand Shipyard

Okay nope, even after doing that I still can't

Using tweakergui instant_survey it keeps flickering between surveyed and unsurveyed, it's like it goes back to being unsurveyed instantly

Ah, it says "our only hope is to first stabilize active rifts in the galaxy" in the Situation Log, and I'm currently waiting on the CPU to stabilize the last one >< perhaps that is what's up

Now I'm getting another error: Trying to survey the wrecked FE homeworld in the Eye of Terror system results in "system survey complete" and the homeworld still isn't surveyed. I don't seem to be able to complete a survey, and it isn't clear why, and I can't built containment on the Eye of Terror until I survey and control the system.

I think I found another bug! If the cultists take over a pre-FTL world, you can't build a starbase on that system because "enemy fleets" are present. But you also can't invade, because "we can only invade pre-FTL worlds inside our own borders."

After the eye of terror opens up the game crashes and all previous saves are completely currupted. Game works fine until that point

Ok found the culprit, but the next update will come with 3.12 (probably backwards compat). If there is suddenly no major issue.

Yeah, even in the empire creation when you press randomize empire name it sometimes comes out as some cult

Some empires are named after a cult without an obvious reason. Is it this mod?
