You use the Witch-King, not Sauron, its to get to Angmar and not Angband. And this mod is propably not compatible with the current Realms in Exile Version, since this Submod got last updated in june '24

make setting to allow if witch king turns into angmar to disable it as I usually play with one playset with my friends in mp and it screws some people over

Any chance this could be trimmed to be more flexible?
Basically allow a game-rule for the starting date to have the Witch King establish Angmar.

Right now the odds of things working out are slim, arnor being established means I steamroll Angmar and mordor being destroyed means everyone else is fully established and steamroll Angmar.

Don’t use the beta. It’s out of date. Use the main version of the mod. Also the submod doesn’t add a new start date. It just allows the Witch-King to take a decision to return to Angmar in the War of the Ring start date

The building is a base mod building, and there’s no real reason for the submod to edit it. It works for all evil-aligned faiths, which the Witch-King should always be

- Compatched to Realms in Exile patch 4.0.1
- Elven counties conquered by the Witch-King after returning to Angmar will now properly convert to Uruk-Ongmair culture

- The Witch King will now be a Client State instead of a Tributary State of Sauron when returning to Angmar
- AI Witch King now gets some starting gold when returning to Angmar to boost his initial economy

It should work with the last beta, and will continue to be kept up to date with Friday patches until the main release of Realms updates. As far as new content, when I get time. I’ve been busy focusing on other things as of late.

- The decision to Return to Angmar is now significantly cheaper for an AI Witch-King, so you should see him returning as a late game threat for Arnor more frequently

- Compatched with Open Beta patch 7
- The Skull of Earnur can now be used by any Sauronic faith, not exclusively Lidless Eye, so you can benefit if you convert.

Mostly just minor fixes, so should be save game compatible

Uh yeah it requires the Beta version of Realms. Angmar doesn’t exist in the main version of the mod. There’s a forum in the discord for submods, though not every submod author posts there.

Already doable with RiE. You can restore Angmarrim culture as the Lossoth, and anyone of evil faith can restore the empire. You can convert to the Winter King faith and create the HoF title normally once you have the necessary holy sites.

Fantastic mod. One suggestion though - would be nice to be able to restore Angmar and become the new Wtich-king as a normal human, similar to the 'Restoration of Arnor' submod. The culture and religion are already in the main mod too.
