if you have any addons that change the default combine models, DO NOT GET THIS. IT WILL OVERWRITE THEM WITH THE BASE GAME MODELS NO MATTER WHAT

@Capt. Latrios It depends on how many addons or you have an addon that override NPC's AI or model replacements. Besides the mod isn't built for gmod at all only HL2 itself. Its on gmod for just messing around in it or you can play the campaign in SP

The cutscenes seem to be quite frequently snapping back to the first person camera and forth, and missing some of the transitions and pans. Is this just a bug with it not running well in gmod, or is there a fix to that I'm missing?

@Winn not happening besides Leon Brinkmann is the original mod creator and he added the cutscenes for a reason

ill five 20 bucks for someone to remove the stupid f*cking cutscenes from this campaign lmao, why would you do everything about hl2 level design correct and then proceed to shit on the game philosophy with these horrid cutscenes that take away immersion and serve no purpose to the story whatsoever?

Changelevel2 does not allow you to get the good ending. Just tested it out and 9-15 did not count

this pack is pretty fun, a lot of cutscenes are broken tho :/

Excellent classic, I just wish that SOMEONE could make an extremely high quality commercial game out of this mod.

That intro cutscene is a crime all on its own. Multiple minutes of boring exposition that you can't skip at all.

@jangwmpt7 Do in console: changelevel2 to the next map since gmod uses changelevel which does not save of the portal data you've collected. Or any other data.

NOTE: If you decided to take the approach of manually loading the next map, this campaign always defaults to the bad ending path no matter how many portal datas you collected, since the number resets every time you manually load the next map. However, you can always play the bonus map by manually loading it.

Even with this unstability, since GMOD can be unstable at times (especially when I have a lot of addons in one gameplay), this map is still fun to play.

Like Tchélvis Podre said, only way to go around possible CTDs during map transitions is loading the next map manually.

its more of a personal critique due to me not really having the patience to go sticking my head into every possibly hiding spot to find em all i guess. if it a little easyer to spot like rebel symbols to give you a small hint on where they were would be nice. but hey ho still quite fun to test arc9 guns on

yeah im gonna be honest the like 3-4 second cutscene showing where the data is dont help much when you literally cant tell where it is in the map. still fun thou

@CP_Unit About the City 7 custom campaign mod, since I heard that you have fixed the issues with it since you have more experience than I have, I am considering removing my post of City 7 from the workshop if you say so.

@jangwmpt7 Leon's Final Project is a long mod and it uses hl2ep2 hunter which means there will be hl2ep2 required to play the mod itself. Again it will use tons of cutscenes just like Strider Mountain which means it can only be played in singleplayer. Besides i've noticed how you said city7 Tornado or what you call it i can somehow fix it but since you uploaded it first i will not upload it if it's on workshop already. And i'm not asking to take the mod down. But i have to install final project again which i'd be doing right now. And check the mod files when i have the time.

By the way, I tried to get Leon's Final Project to work in GMOD, but failed at the time.

Plans on doing Leon's Final Project (which is not really his final project, as he will eventually release his take on the cancelled HL2:E3 years after his "final project").

I will remove the older version at 3/18/2024 giving people time to remove it. But will keep the newer fixed version here forever. So if you have the old version delete it whenever you can!
