Thank you for making it right... theoretically purple blood would be from an organism with both copper and iron hemotypes (Hemocyanin and Hemoglobin), perhaps returning to dark red/maroon then clear when deoxygenated. But I am neither picky nor sure. Great work so far!

As of v0.90, this mod will not behave accordingly.

Either roll back to Version 0.89 using a Steam Beta, or give me a moment to rework this mod! I wanted to improve a couple of thinks anyway.

You can add this Mod to an existing Savegame, it will not break anything
and Nexxtic was confirming this if you go back trough the Comments.

However, once you added the Mod it is not a good idea to remove it again,
it will break your Savegames. There is a Comment from @StygianEmperor

And i had the same errors too, after i have seen this Comment and testing this.
But of course i had a couple of Quick saves at this point already, so i just loaded
the one before i added the Mod.

So be sure to use the Mod until the end of a new or an existing Savegame.

Im about to start my third playthrough, this time on Admiral, Special Campaign with Hard Boiled enabled and I wanted to use this mod to spice things up but im reading people saying things about saving issues and crashing so im scared to. Have these issues been resolved? Also does using mods on this game disable achievements?

Actually using this mod for my first playthrough. Played the demo and wasn't really a fan of the tubby custard blood even though that's specifically what you're going for. Probably because I keep thinking the default blood looks like tubby custard(If you watched Teletubbies as a wee bairn you know what Im talking about)

They very easily couldve NOT DONE THIS, or bothered to ever update this mod if it broke.
Games, and mods, take time. Be patient, and let them do their work. You dont get greatness like Selaco from being rushed or rushing someone else. It will always eventually get done, just give them their time and remember to respect their lives too.

Where is blood mist? Where gibs? Why original blood looks more intense? And also this mod can kill your autosaves.

I noticed the big pink mist cloud of fake blood still happen when enemies gib. Could you just remove that from the game?

Blood clouds are still pink, and certain sprites (like the shotgunners severed arm for example) still have pink splotches here and there while the rest is red
