@Mutazek I fixed those prices but I am not sure if that will change Bobby ray prices in your save right away or only in the next shop refresh.
Lucjan  [author] Mar 10 @ 2:50am
Thanks for reporting. Statas are
indeed the same, some variants got price increase(x6 in this case) from camo bonus twice.
Mutazek Mar 10 @ 1:58am
Is there any particular reason why some of the equipment has such big disparity in price even tho they seem to be the same at Bobby's Rays? Even the Heavy versions of the Brown Camo armours are cheaper than the vests and medium armour. So far seems to be only with the Combat variants

I don't think so but there are some rare heavy armor in vanilla with no penalty as far as I remember.
alrumpel Feb 25 @ 1:04pm
Did the mod remove the malus from heavy armor to movement points? I found some heavy armur, but suffered no penalty. Thanks for the great mod and your answer in advance.

PSA I release major CUAE update. 🚀

Changes were extensive so there is no-zero chance for some minor bugs. Please report 🙏

Hi, PM
cbcFoNV Sep 6, 2024 @ 5:37pm
Hey Lucjan, love the More Armors mod! I put together this one to allow removing weave padding and ceramic plates from the armors added by your mod ala Acredo's "Remove Paddings and Plates" :
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3324757540
I put in some code over the last day or so to allow separating helmets and gas masks/NVG. I'll probably have it fully tested in-game by the end of the weekend. I can send it to you to add to More Armors, or with your permission, I can publish an update to the "Remove MORE Paddings and Plates" mod that will allow separating combined helmets. Cheers!
warriorandtoaster Aug 30, 2024 @ 4:45am
Gotcha, thanks for all your work!
Lucjan  [author] Aug 30, 2024 @ 4:01am
No, I have it on my todo list but I have no idea when I have time for this mod.
warriorandtoaster Aug 30, 2024 @ 3:10am
Is there a way to separate helmets from NVGs and Gas Masks once combined? NVGs in particular are valuable so if there's no way to remove them from a helmet, I'll just end up holding on to them separately until I find a camo + high quality helmet of the right type.
Lucjan  [author] Aug 13, 2024 @ 5:33am
No
moj__ Aug 13, 2024 @ 4:44am
A dumb questiom maybe...im new to the game...does the armours show on the characters...in the game? in 3d.

I have been having a pretty meh time with JA3 modding lots of balance issues or incompatible/unupdated mods. However this one is A+ you were able to add minor bonuses and make the armor system much more interesting. Also since enemies use the new NVG helmets and masks with the additional mod it makes encounters more varied and interesting.

I had considered making something much more simple to mess with the armor system and differentiating the vest options as acting as one step lower in classification I.E. a Medium vest is light and a heavy vest is Medium to make up for the no arm protection. However that left the standard flak jacket in the dust. Should it be kept as is as the worst armor, or would giving it a minor bonus so it could compete with the kevlar vest and light armor jacket slightly.
Shuri-Sama May 31, 2024 @ 1:32am
sure gas mask or nv google i know how to combine with a helmet (not used timmehs armor mod before which has this function as well) but then the description just irritated me. cause there its mention only some could buy from bobbys rest u need to craft (so thats why i ask for a list ^^)
Lucjan  [author] May 28, 2024 @ 12:55am
When you right click on an item there will be combine option which will allow you to combine with an item.

E.g. if you have a GasMask in the invetory you can then right click on a Helmet and then combine it with a GasMask. The same way you would combine a vest with ceramic plates.
Shuri-Sama May 27, 2024 @ 3:25am
where can i see the crafting reziepe list?
saschapl84 May 19, 2024 @ 9:58am
ty!
Lucjan  [author] Apr 13, 2024 @ 7:25am
Yes, fixed
Óðinn Apr 13, 2024 @ 7:21am
I am not sure about the meaning of "FED" color, do you mean "FDE"?
FED usually stands for "federal"
FDE usually stands for "flat dark earth"
mc5000 Apr 5, 2024 @ 3:39pm
Thank you!
bibakilla Apr 2, 2024 @ 2:49pm
Awesome mod! FINALLY gasmask/helmet and nightvision/helmet-combi. Works perfectly fine in coop.
Lucjan  [author] Apr 1, 2024 @ 7:13am
Thank you, I appreciate it
Óðinn Apr 1, 2024 @ 5:12am
Looking good! Keep up the cool updates please Sir!
Lucjan  [author] Mar 29, 2024 @ 12:40pm

mousetrapreplica[TSC] Mar 24, 2024 @ 1:59pm
i left some feedback in a discussion thread :)
Lucjan  [author] Mar 5, 2024 @ 2:27pm
Thanks for pointing that out, fixed. I am looking forward to reading your feedback.
mousetrapreplica[TSC] Mar 5, 2024 @ 1:56pm
might give this a go since i saw timmehs armor overhaul is apparently not working properly with the current game version, ill let you know what i think after i put some playtime into it.

small nitpick but i noticed you spelled Kevlar wrong in your mod description
Lucjan  [author] Mar 2, 2024 @ 10:59am
IMO

Kevlar versions needs more work but I am almost happy with Light and heavy
Lucjan  [author] Mar 2, 2024 @ 10:58am
I made little adjustments to Solid versions
And I added rust/tear/color-lose overlays to Poor versions

*Only images have changed

I count on your feedback
Óðinn Mar 2, 2024 @ 8:45am
Maybe your monitor needs calibrating PEKO. Is it a VA, OLED, IPS or some other type of panel? On my IPS monitor the updated colors look great.
PEKO Mar 1, 2024 @ 6:29pm
After update
Similar gear colors cause pain to my eyes
Lucjan  [author] Mar 1, 2024 @ 7:52am
Only images have changed, Ids are the same so nothing chnages, or old Solid are new Solid etc
Óðinn Mar 1, 2024 @ 7:32am
Excellent! :steamhappy:

Any idea how this will work with an existing save?
Lucjan  [author] Mar 1, 2024 @ 5:42am
PSA: new update
changed colors to be more in line with real-world items.

Feedback is welcome
Óðinn Mar 1, 2024 @ 3:25am
Exactly, yes sir!

It is an over-simplification, but it seems most plausible.

Oldest/poorest color to newest/best color...

Green-Poor (oldest)
Black-Regular
Brown-Solid (newest)
Lucjan  [author] Feb 29, 2024 @ 11:47pm
To sum up, you consider the left ones(brown) as Solid, Middle(greenish) as Poor and right(black) as Regular?

Middle set is vanilla.
Óðinn Feb 29, 2024 @ 6:16pm
You nailed it on the colors in that linky! :steamhappy:

Anything "mil spec" is the lowest-quality-to-price-ratio gear that is basically functional/acceptable. ie: mass produced and/or older style. Olive-Drab armor & gear has been around well over +80 years, so being older it is therefore most likely to be equivalent to your "Poor Quality".

FDE (flat dark-earth..aka brown) is a much more modern color for military gear. It's quite common to see it in the civilian market at the moment. FDE is today thought of superior to olive as a base color for military gear. Most new military weapons and gear are some shade of flat brown Generally this would be perceived the newest/best kit. Therefore most likely to be your "Well Crafted".

Black is probably somewhere in between. It started being popular as a special forces/military color probably from the 1970's onwards. I'd suggest this is the "Standard" color. Not the oldest, not the newest.

@Óðinn
LMK what do you think
https://imgur.com/a/xHEc6py
Lucjan  [author] Feb 29, 2024 @ 1:53pm
From all those colors witch one would like to see the most?

That would fit the Poor and Solid division.

I will for sure keep vanilla as it is and they are camo armors in there so it seems to eleminate cammo colors.

I can see making the Poor variant more FDE

But I am not sire about Solid one. I can maki it Olive/Woodland but I am not sure if that would suggest it is a better version than Vanilla.

Black seems like a decent choice.

I am not into military eq so I need some good suggestioms to make it well ;)
Óðinn Feb 29, 2024 @ 12:38pm
Very humbly, as I fully appreciate this is your mod, I'd suggest....

One of 3 common military colors seen in the real world:-
Khaki (desert)
Camo (jungle/woodland/bush)
Olive Drab (generic)

We do also see:-
Blue (press & emergency services)
FDE (mostly civilian/pmc)
Black (sof & police)

As much as I greatly admire your work on this mod, I regrettably unsubbed due to the "red" as it broke my immersion.
Lucjan  [author] Feb 29, 2024 @ 5:07am
Thank you

@Óðinn what color should it be then?
Óðinn Feb 29, 2024 @ 4:35am
Great mod thank you! :steamhappy:

But red armor maybe not so much
Lucjan  [author] Feb 12, 2024 @ 12:38am
@PanzerElite you can upgrade poor into poor with NV/GasMask/Paddings/Plates/Kompositium

There is no option for Poor into normal or normal into Solid.
PanzerElite Feb 11, 2024 @ 7:00pm
Can I upgrade Poor and Normal armor ?
RivvenDarke Feb 11, 2024 @ 3:21pm
Played a while and still dislike the red ones.... but I also disliked the red C18 in Ja2 , so thats a personal problem ;-)
wulfy301 Feb 11, 2024 @ 3:15am
COOL!
Jee\o/Pee Feb 10, 2024 @ 3:08pm
Red means treated with Compound 18. So its fine! :D
RivvenDarke Feb 10, 2024 @ 1:56pm
Black is always nice .... but your mod your choice ofc
Lucjan  [author] Feb 10, 2024 @ 12:12pm
@RivvenDarke I can but not sure if I want. Blue is militia color in Jagged. There is also option of going Black or even Purple/Green. Not sure but I am interested what others think.
