We have fixed some of the things you mentioned in the new patch. We also couldn't reproduce the Places of Power bug. Did you click on the Places of Power setup button? The Scenario Guide is now slightly changed, but will be reworked soon for obvious reasons. We have also made small changes to the behaviour of the encounter deck.
We have also improved the font in the new update.
Pros:
- Enemy design
- Side Quests
- Boss-Design with the option of weakening it beforehand
- Even for seasoned players like us, this scenario was very challenging!
Cons:
- Sidequest with the Skellige raiders does not work since there is no indication about when they will spawn
- the amount of keywords feels overwhelming and it seems like some could be taken care of inside scenarios such as the woods deck
- Not sure if we just missed something, but the Places of Power did not spawn in our playthrough. Was this intended?
- A lot of negative game effects felt like they just amounted to wasting actions (f.e. treacheries that just make you walk back). Getting sent back once in a while can definitely have its place, but it doesn't really add anything when it happens 5 - 6 times in a scenario
Hope this helps, would love to see a full campaign in the Witcher setting :)
