I really like this mod as a concept, but Brenn Black is much too strong for such an easy recruit. All I had to do was talk to her a bit and she joined.

Bonefist being honorable was also able to be recruited after dropping him by some cannibals and saving him from a cage.

Both were so powerful they immediately dominated the battlefield for me. I even had Ghost, the Vanilla leader of the Berserkers, recruited the same way via the rescue from cannibals trick, and he was even well geared barely holding his own against foes they could rapidly overwhelm.

Personally I would like to see them both reduced to numbers more comparable to Kang and Rane the Giantess.

And having 70 in armor smith was abit much for Brenn to dont you think? All one needs to do is set her up a work shop and she will basically print money.

@Citrus the FCS is pretty easy and straightforward to use honestly, the main challenge to editing a preexisting mod is grabbing the files from your steam folders, there are better guides on that available in the community or google searches than I can provide here. As I said in another comment I balanced them against skeletons, so they're gonna be a bit stronger than most, but if you want to give it a try changing the stats is the easiest part of the race creation process thankfully, it's just changing some numbers.

@Cloud this mod makes absolutely no changes to animations of any sort, and I've personally played with it extensively as well as watched a full playthrough by a friend with no such issues. That's being caused by another mod of yours, most likely one that introduces new animations of some sort, since all races need compatibility patches for such mods, whichever one it is will probably mention this.

Trying out this Race in a solo run. So far I noticed that this shek havs no sleeping animation. The character just stands right next to a bed and heals.

This is EXACTLY what I wanted for my game. Thanke.

I have a small problem tho, these units are way to buff. like they're cool and all but in stats they're just sheks but better. I want weaker ones like 110 hp bodies without the dodging & athletics advantages(& MA since that apparently doesn't work witch means the buff will only irk me in-game.) That's about it for balancing changes really, I'd be happy with that.

Do you know of any way I could do this myself for my game?

If not, ah well. It's already great so I'm happy.

I am using the more scorchedlander hair color mod, do you think that could be the conflict?

@Shek Supremacist not sure how that would happen, the hairs should only use the vanilla scorchlander ones with the default color tone changed to a bone tan instead of white. Not sure how any other mod would cause it either, you might just not be used to vanilla hairs if you have a hair fixing mod maybe? Some of the default ones do look a bit jank.

I love this race. Very immersive, but I am having issues with some of them having more then one hairstyle.. Like one is buzzcut and then another hairstyle is on top of the buzzcut. Could that maybe be a conflict on my end?

Fair enough. Skeles are OP as any fighter cuz of their low bleeding and high healing, better as MA cuz of no fist damage. So these guys are kinda the opposite, all offensive bonuses and a bit glass cannon compared to Skeles. Ok, I get the vision now. Cool.

They were balanced against Skeletons, since that's what most people play for martial artist runs that I've seen, arguably Skeletons are still better because their part health, healing, and other factors are just that good when playing a character without a lot of armor (like a martial artist). I originally considered averaging stats, but then they end up as just greenlanders with different skin and slightly higher part healths, which doesn't really change the way you play much.

I really like the idea of halfbreeds and the graphics for them, but the stats are pretty OP. They're roughly 270% (or more) better than a greenlander martial artist of equivalent experience, and martial arts is pretty OP to start with. Maybe average the two races' stats instead? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1491745506 Strictly averaging all would make them better weapon users than martial artists but it's a starting point for a more balanced race.

This is how the Shek were like before, when they were known as "enforcers", in my head
