Is it possible you could apply it to the helmet on Soltheim?

It replaces every Dwarven Helmet in the game, so you can find it anywhere you find Dwarven Helmets.

Awesome idea, and yeah I know how it is trying to texture stuff. It is hard but you'll get it figured out soon enough. It's a rather wonky learning curve for sure!

Good luck with that, looking forward to keep track of the updates from the mod.

(For those who understand texture modding, the problem lies with the _m.dds texture. The main one, the _n one and the _e ones are all fine, but since the _m one has the flat almost matte-ness of steel plate rather than the patchy shine of bronze [or silver], the helmet will never match perfectly. Well, "never" until I figure out how to make such patina from scratch, or find a version that has it that I'm allowed to use.)

I'm working on the color issue; the screenshots are actually one version behind, I'll update them when I can. Part of the problem is that the Steel textures don't have the patterns of patina that the Bronze textures do, which means even if I get the hue exactly right, it still won't look like a perfect match because it shines like a different kind of metal.

My first try at this was editing SPOA's Silver Knight textures, and its silver patinas matched the vanilla bronze patinas really well, but sadly SPOA doesn't let people edit his textures (which I discovered after finishing my first version, oops), so I had to start over editing the vanilla textures, and what is currently there is the best that I can currently do. As I get better at texture editing, I will continue to update this mod, until it is as seamless as my first try was (seriously, it was awesome).

You should make the full armor like this. I find the Dwemers fascinating and is my favorite (though unplayable) race in the game. Their armor is kinda... primitive, seeing that they were the ones who had advanced technology, i would think their armor would be like their ruins, with gears and things. Anyway, very good! Just need the colour a bit so it can match the rest of the armor.

Check the changelog.

The colour doesn't suit the rest of the armor, it needs to be adjusted so it goes with the set.

Dwemer guy #1: hey guess what?

Dwemer guy #2: no just tell me

Dwemer guy #1: aw okay, I made something, a thing that will revolutionise armour!

Dwemer guy #2: soooooo. You made some armour.

Dwemer guy #1: no. I made a helmet.

Dwemer guy #2: yeah, a little armour...

Dwemer guy #1: Wanna see it?

Dwemer guy #2: If it's bad, no.

Dwemer guy #1: the PISS HELM 3000!

Dwemer guy #2: ...

Nah, just poking fun. It's pretty cool, not over done.
