The Combine Sniper Rifle from this addon has an entity that does provide Sniper Ammo if anyone wants to have such a thing.

This weapon uses base-game ammo types, nothing custom. I have never written any code that ever tells someone "subscribe to my base".

The standard mode uses AR2.
The sniper mode uses Sniper ammo (base game, but has no natively spawnable entities).
The grenade launcher uses SMG grenades.

If you are referring to the ammo stations included with the Draconic Base, those have been broken due to some kind of internal change to Garry's Mod itself and I have yet to look into it, but there are still no message prints in there that would say anything similar to what you claim.

Hello! I can't get ammo on the DC-17m of different variations, when I spawn ammo it says "you must be subscribed to Draconic SWEP" or something similar.

I wonder if you could implement something that could have the weapon use the OG Knife animation for the Clone Commando PMs with the fast punch be usable for other PMs?

I left it as the knife because the knife bone is still there, Dopey wanted to add the knife to c_arms for his animated republic commando player model but idk if he ever got around to it

I wonder if you could try to change the normal melee of the weapon to be something like a quick punch before raising the weapon again instead of using the knife animation with no knife?

There are addons that give ammo for weapon kills. Thus Using the Vibroknife function can give you ammo for the Sniper and Anti-Armor modules.

Give yourself ammo. Draconic comes with ammo box entities you can use when in those modes to get ammo for them.

Okay; the final issue resides with the BF2 DC-17m and the DC-15s Pistol. When in 3rd person view, the shots come from elsewhere rather than the weapon barrels. This also includes the Draconic 3rd person view.

Essentially, whenever I attempt the mount a vehicle after I have used the DC-17m in any configuration, pressing the button that would normally allow me to get on a vehicle (Such as a Barc Speeder) the button function does not work.

Well, this is strange.

The conflict is with Advanced Camera BUT just having this addon + Draconic Base + Advanced Camera enabled by themselves does not result in the broken view...its normal.

Advanced Camera is just a tool for the tool gun, it adds an improved camera tool and does not modify the player view which is why it's strange this is breaking EFP.

There must be another conflict with another addon somewhere, but right now leaving Advanced Camera disabled fixes it for me.

I honestly have an ungodly amount with most of them being maps and models. I don't think I have that much addons that have LUA scripts making the list much smaller....I didn't think it could be an addon conflict since there was no error. Let me do some more testing first.

I'm back with my report with the newest update to Draconic Base, the issue I mentioned before is still present.

Using Experimental Firstperson with these guns completely breaks the view. The camera gets detached from the body and the viewmodel gets detached also and does not follow the player.

Perfectly normal once EFP is disabled otherwise.

either with console or use some of the ammo boxes included with Draconic, the sniper uses the base-game sniper ammo while the grenade launcher uses hl2 smg grenades

This is an awesome port! However, for some reason when either of the weapons are equipped, it completely breaks the Experimental Firstperson in your base. It's like the camera gets detached from the the body.

I opted for hitscan over projectiles for the standard mode just because in the context of Garry's Mod & map settings for it to be more fun to actually use.

Sniper zoom levels are not (currently) supported by the Draconic Base.

The grenade launcher is accurate to the original game, it uses the blast damage type, and has 225 base damage. If other addons are not able to pick up on the high damage value or the explosive damage type then that's not really my problem.

Battlefront 2 model was an afterthought and doesn't align fully 1:1, the guns share code.

Thanks Vuth. You have no idea how much I like Republic Commando.

I would like to say that I do have nitpicks, though.

1. I remember that the standard mode of the weapon shot projectiles, not Hitscan attacks.

2. The Sniper mode had 2 levels of zoom.

3. The Anti-Armor attachment needs to look and FEEL more powerful (maybe fly a bit farther.)
I'm talking "Gib enemies when a gore mod like Zippy's is enabled" powerful, because I recall how that thing blasted B2-HAs into metal pieces.

When I killed Combine with it when Zippy's Gore mod was on, They just lifelessly fell down.

4. I did notice the Sniper mode sight on the Battlefront 2 one was SLIGHTLY misaligned.

Also you might be right about the confliction as I just learned that for some reason my guns wernt even hurting the Combine NPCs...... wut is conflicting with Draconic?
