Are the souls summoned automatically?

i'd definitely try the creation kit to do this, but my computer does not like it. I try the first step to creating a plugin and creation kit crashes.

@caxmann2000 - I am no longer actively maintaining this mod. Even if I were, I have not seen your issue before, so it is likely something specific to your Skyrim configuration (perhaps a conflict with another mod).
Recomendations:
1. Try moving this mod last in your load order.
2. Try with another character and see if you get the same issue.
3. To confirm whether or not it is a mod conflict, temporarily disable all other mods, start a new character, and see if you get the same issue.

when ever i enter the game again i lose all my traped souls please fix even thogh its still a good mod

I don't know any other modders who would be likely to make this, sorry. That said, the creation kit is not too hard do use, and there are some good tutorials out there, so if you have the time and desire to make this, you could probably pull it off yourself.
If you do, I would recommend looking at the tutorials on http://www.creationkit.com/Category:Tutorials , particularily the getting started section and the scripting section. Opening up another mod in the creation kit and looking at the creator did things can also be a good learning experience.

That is actually a really cool idea. I haven't actually done any modding (or even played skyrim) in the past year, so I don't think I am likely to make it.

This idea seems quite doable.
- Could modify the silver sword script to check charges / time of day.
- Would probably have to use a global quest variable to track number of charges, and display those charges in the weapon description.
- Could make the stone an activator, which shows/hides a static version of the sword for placing/removing.
- The guardian spawn could be triggered by the same script used to recharge the sword.

Not much I can do about them leaving weapons behind, that can happen in vanilla skyrim with ghosts and such as well (I think you can even get the weapons of dremora summons using the disarm shout).

I hadn't got the draugr deathlord one before, that's kinda funny (What is causing that issue is that in order to make the summons not attack you, they must be made to be friends with the player character, giving the possibility of getting letters of inheritance)

I have a bug not on your list; my summons are laeving weapons behind when killed.

I also just got a letter from the jarl telling me that my good friend Draugr Deathlord has passed away :D

no i just prefer only one one-handed weapon. also i don't really care about lore friendlyness and if you do care about it and think a one handed version isn't lore friendly don't use it.

Melon Tosser: Whenever you equip the sword, you are given a Greater Power to summon the souls. Look in Spells > Powers: "Soulsword Summon"

Enigma: Unfortunately, Papyrus caps arrays at 128. It would be possible to use a linked list structure or multiple arrays to store soul data, but these are complex and would likely cause increased lag, much slower summoning and capture of souls, and more crashes. Consequently, it is not feasible to allow more souls in the sword.

this mod works fine without dragonborn, but for some reason weapon racks and plaques dont accept it

I couldn't figure out why my game was crashing until I discovered this mod required Dragonborn DLC by accident while looking at another weapon mod.

i know how the launch problem is solved
(1.) subcribe launch if it does not work try the other steps
(2.) unsubcribe,lanch skyrim let your other mods download when your mods are downloaded click play. after that quit and subscribe to the mod again if it doesn not work try step 3
(3.) wait a couple on minutes hours or days
(4.) still not working tell the owner to make another soulsword

EyeLykeBerbs: The main reson I made this a two handed weapon is for balance reasons, otherwise the drawback of having your souls dismissed when you unequip the weapon isn't much of a drawback. The ability to summon the three souls is a very powerfull effect, and on a one handed weapon would be even more overpowered than it already is.

aight cool just a personal sugestion but i think it would be cool if it sometime in the future had a further story line to it that you have to complete to get the sword :) imo would add a little more balance as to getting it and would just overall be a nice adventure for a nice sword

metalcrane: Thanks a lot for noticing the Dawnguard dependancy, I must have missed it last time I opened the mod. It definately should not be a dependancy of the mod. Also, thank you for pointing me to TES5Edit.
I have removed extraneous dependancies and cleaned .esp using TES5Edit, so crashes should now be less likely.

Looking at this mod in the creation kit, it has Dawnguard as a dependency, which may be causing some of the crashes people are reporting. There's also at least one dirty edit, which will potentially cause compatibility issues with some other mods. May want to take another look under the hood manually, or run it through TESVEdit.
