is there a way how I'm supposed to get a flare coz there's no weapon slot 6,7,8,9 :steamfacepalm:

IIRC this is due to gmod slot binding settings @Sean2063 and is an issue with LVS

Does anyone know why i cant use weapons / utility things past the fourth weapon slot? The settings wont give me the option to assign a fifth or higher weapon slot

Or maybe make the flares have a collision after existing for 0.25 seconds but they will be really light and have low gravity so it doesn't stop other vehicles from moving.

Please add a console command to make any projectiles get homed on these flares or some system like this.

Nevermind, jsut fixed the problem. turns out it was an issue with my actual player controls, not LVS ones

Help, i cannot seem to change weapons past the first four, and if i want to use the first four i have to manually key bind them in the LVS menu. I should be able to use scroll wheel for weapon changing but this does not work for me for some reason. i have tried resetting my controls, uninstalling and reinstalling LVS but nothing seems to work.

@Sibbit updated the addon to fix map teleporters. For the inifinite map base I need to investigate a bit more, as it seems to add custom physics.

@DolUnity Of course. The maps I tried were gm_infmap_carrier_vs_carrier and gm_infmap_desertold. On a kind of releated note, is it possible to prevent the flares from interacting with map teleporters? On gm_carrier_vs_carrier (non infinite map) when flares are being released near the teleporting edge of the map the flares still emit trails from A to B ends.

This is absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately though they bug out on infinite maps. Instead of hitting the ground they start spazzing out and teleport all around the world causing lag and they seemingly don't despawn. On regular maps they are perfect.

@Skip you are right, I just checked the code of the SAM turret, and it seems like it overrides basic missile functionalities of LVS which leads to incompatibilities with the flares.
I will try to contact the creator of them and change this.

Unfortunately it does not seem to work with the LVS sam turret, as the missile simply ignores the flares.

@I Like Cookies, the Dev of LFS literally said LVS is a new version. They made it so LFS mods are compatible.

@Tic check that you are in the right seat, I've updated the list in the description. Also due to LVS if you don't have any other weapons available you won't specifically see the flares weapon.

The sound prompts are working but the weapon slot does not appear to be showing up even on the default vehicles.
